Its important to seat each plug all the way into the socket. Leaving the blades exposed is a fire hazard. It may be necessary to wiggle the plug as you push it firmly in. The plug should go all the way into the device.

Works good for what I need it for

Good length cord. Convenient USB charging ports. Could use one or two more though. But for the price, not bad. The only other problem is the switch seems a little flimsy. Guess you cant have everything!

I love how you can move the slots around for bigger chargers. Bought one for the living room and then a second for my son’s many gadgets. The first is 2 years old and still going strong. Very happy with the design, durability, and product.

I havent tested this surge protector through any serious thunderstorms, but it does the job during any other day.

Ive always used APC, even in commercial capacity such as racks, PDU, UPSs as well as home products, so I naturally didnt hesitate to select an APC power strip for the home. Within 3 weeks the power light no longer worked. Sad, but not important. Inside of 5 months, its dead entirely. Its disappointing to say the least. APC has been one of my most trusted brands and still house and power datacenters Ive built for over 7 years and still going strong. I hope they can improve their manufacturing abilities and improve their QC for home products.

It looks good. The price is nice. It has a protection light to tell you if protection is working or not.
