> 24 hourNot sure why it needs to be lit, the only drawback is the light if used in the bedroom

> 24 hourLove this Hub. Sturdy and works well. Plus the blue lights match my case, which is of course the most vital! :)

> 24 hourDoes just what it is supposed to do. It seems solid and works without issues. My only other comment is that the LED lights in the USB ports are VERY bright. I suppose they are there so you can use them in the dark, but these can almost light up the room.

> 24 hourThe lights are indicates whether its on or not. I used nano tape to stick it on a vertical pole (pics shows sideways for some reason on Amazon reviews). Its plugged into a USB 3.0 PCIe card on a classic Mac Pro. Havent tried many USB 3.0 devices on it as I dont have many that require 3.0. Ive plugged in a webcam, charged my iPhone, and charged my Pax 3 at the same time. The cables could be a bit longer for my personal usuage as my computer is 4 feet away from my monitor. The electric plug is a bit short too but an extension cable solves that. Might just be my arrangement is a bit odd. Be default all the lights will be on and read another reviewer said its too bright in the darken room. I agree. Not sure if its purely cosmetic or does turning it off actually safe you any drain from you computer or not.

> 24 hourThis item was bought to handle the USBs because my laptop only has 2 USB ports. It worked fine the first day. After that my headphone kept going out and I had to either press off then on or take the USB out the port and plug back in. It is frustrating to be talking (it states mic is on) and no one can hear me. Ive had to do this several times during an important meeting. Dont know if it is damaged or a defect in the HUB.

> 24 hourNeeded to be able to easily connect 4+ Xbox controllers to a computer and it worked perfect.

> 24 hourIve had this before and it lasted for a few years before a few of the ports stopped working. I figured it was better than the wear and tear on my laptop. This works great and this version of the hub has a longer cord which is very helpful.

> 24 hourWell built, longer than average cords for easy placement, quiet on/off buttons (press on/long press off), led indicators are well lit without being to bright.

> 24 hourI bought this USB hub for my wife, mostly because her computer has a problem where the mouse stopped working when using more than one USB port. This hub has solved the problem, now everything is connected to the hub and having switches to turn on and off each device avoids the wear and tear. It also has 1 smart charging ports for the phone, headphones, etc, which is very useful. A good purchase for a fair price that has saved the day.

> 24 hourThis atolla Aluminum 5-Port USB 3.0 Hub does exactly what it says. I had first ordered a similar plastic-ey model from Sabrent..but its just felt TOO cheap. This atolla Aluminum 5-Port USB 3.0 Hub feels well made...ports work fine with fast speeds...charging port works but is rather slow. I like you can shut individual ports off as needed and the corresponding blue lights that tell you which ones are on. My only SLIGHT negative is in winter I find I am getting more of those static electricity shocks than when I touch it vs my other metal components. I am not talking about a REAL shock....its the dry winter air..walking on carpet kinda shock, touch a metal door handle kind of shock,it just seems a bit more with this unit, than when I touch anything else. The unit works great esp vs its price-point.,. Made in China like so MANY other products sold on Amazon..wish it was made in USA!, but maybe thats just me...
