The Pro Tec Classic is a bit different from older models and does not have the thick styrene liner like other models and Sizing does not run true to U.S. standards . Had to ship one back to Amazon even when measuring head above eye brows and ordering one size over what I needed . Had to order two sizes over what I needed . Padding was loose in the helmet when it arrived . Velcro strips did not stick to inside of helmet . Needs a lot of Quality control at the factory on Sizing to U.S. Standards and quality control of padding .

i needed protection for a new sport i acquired which is longboarding. i needed a product for security and also confort. also i wanted an item with cool colors, not the same classic color black. Pro-tec are one of the best brand used by skaters and longboarders. my friends all used it so i decided to buy the same. i am very happy with this product. its been twice that i had a big fall going downhill and i havent had, not even a scratch on my helmet. its a very tough helmet i recommend this product. Before buying this helmet I never really liked hitting my head. Every since I purchased this helmet I’ve been slamming my head into everything and I love it! If you like banging your head on things I’d buy this helmet too!

This was the third helmet I had ordered trying to get a good fit. On SnapBack hats I wear them with only two snaps snapped, if that gives you an idea of fit. This helmet fits me perfectly and comfortably. I should have just gone with ProTec the first time around, they’re the best. Four stars for now only because I haven’t been able to test it much yet. I will update accordingly.

Excellent product. My 14 year old loves it and the medium fits great.
