Excellent product. My 14 year old loves it and the medium fits great.

Teaching the kids to skate meant I get to relearn stuff too so helmets for all. The most important thing to learn early is falling as no matter a skateboarders skill level they fall. This is my favorite style of helmet as it protects the back of the head great, which is likely to get whacked when rolling out of a fall.

I have a large head so even helmets marked as large or extra large rarely fit but this does, & confortably! It’s great for derby & the skate park!

Bought this to ride my bike. Fits great and in really comfy.

Very light can barely tell its there

I bought this after reading that most Tornado deaths were due to head injury. I survived a Tornado in Jan 2012 in my basement & thank GOD i did not need a helmet. Shortly thereafter i did get a weather radio, emergency nightlights & a helmet.. I mounted a headlamp on it so as to be able to see... sorry i am not a skater so i dont think i helped any enthusiasts out with this review....

I wanted a helmet that was not as thick as most helmets. Most of my friends had pro-tec helmets when I was growing up and I always thought they looked way better than whatever I was wearing. The helmet is thin, and I knew it wasnt that protective but honestly it isnt that great. Its light yeah, but not that comfortable and still looks silly on my head. I went with triple 8 instead, way more comfortable and only a little more silly looking.

This product has a foam liner that is glued in but was not connected in this helmet. I believe the liner is supposed to be valcro but the sticky tape did not work. It also has Pro-Tec stickers applied all crooked. Very disappointing. Warranty says a year for workmanship or defects. The trick is you have to pay shipping back to them and include an additional 10 dollar check for shipping. To much trouble, not worth the headache....
