They should of added a loop at the end so you dont have to place anything under it to keep from displacing your substrate. I added a section of hose and got it to work how it should of been made to begin with. Modification can be done easily, overpriced for what it is. cheaper to buy pvc and make it right.

(Almost) hands-free filling of your tank. Hooks over the side of the aquarium so youre not holding the hose for 30 mins. There is an on-and-off switch at the tank end of the hose you can turn off when your tank is filled - no overflow!

This attachment works exactly as advertised. Im not sure why people are complaining about it only being used for re-filling, thats all it was designed to do. I vacuum my tank with the original python attachment and then swap it out for this one. I dont run a lid on my 65 gallon so this is very useful to me. Its pretty ridiculous to one star a product just because you dont understand how it works or youre using it wrong.

I would never been able to have a 130 gallon tank without this and now I have a nice big tank and trust me when I say this is essential for anyone with big tanks and very well made simple to use and no more messes well at least not in my big tanks.. if they would only make one for ppl who have multiple nano tanks I would jump on that also bc this is too strong for that purpose and the hook is brilliant and also necessary in my opinion.. made in USA which is a bonus too!!

If you have a Python water changing kit you should definitely have this item as well. Makes things much easier and worry free.

Still as much water everywhere and it didnt suck up the uneaten food so it defeats my purpose. As Californian wasting so much water feels unconscionable especially if the results are no better. Lucky for me I couldnt attach to my bathroom faucet, the amount of pressure needed to get flow would have flooded the bathroom, so I attached to an outside faucet. But this also meant I couldnt use warm water, so back to buckets for refill. Overall I regret this purchase

It worked as advertised, I had no worries of the python falling out while filling a 100g tank
