QuickBooks Pro 2005

We upgraded our software from the 2003 version on Friday evening. The upgrade was fine and easy to follow. We started using the new program right away with minimal confusion. We didnt close the company file until last night, when we shut the computer down before going home for the night. Today, the new version no longer recognizes our password. Intuit technicians are mystified by this happening and Ive been switched from service number to service number trying to get it resolved. Most recently, I spent an HOUR AND A HALF on hold, only to get a recorded survey asking me to rate my satisfaction with a customer service rep that never answered the phone, and then the survey hung up on me. An entire day of work has been stopped, and an entire day of being on the phone waiting for someone to help us has typified the experience weve always had working with Intuit any time weve had questions. I am now sitting on speakerphone again, hoping to get an answer. 25 minutes and counting....I may prefer to go back to the good old fashioned ledger and pen method.

I know there are a lot of reviews slamming this product, but they are mostly unfounded. I have been using each new release of QuickBooks Pro since 2002. I have to say that every new version improves upon the previous one in many ways. For example, this version makes it MUCH easier for me to reconcile my merchant account transactions with my bank statement. It can even organize your transactions in batches and allows you to download any merchant account fees associated with those batches. This alone was a great reason for me to upgrade and was well worth the money spent. I even got a nice $100 rebate.

An old favorite that I thought that I could use. Cant use it on my 64-bit computer! I like the Journal Entry feature.

This has really helped my company in increasing effeciency. It is pretty easy to use.

Highly recommend Quickbooks Pro for small businesses. I have been using Quickbooks since 1996 and other Intuit products including TurboTax for Business since 2000 for filing my corporate taxes. The key to using QB is the intial setup for your particular business.

Seller was very prompt. Item was exactly as described. I even e-mailed him to have the item shipped sooner and he e-mailed me back in the same day and upgraded shipping at no cost to me. He was very accomodating.

I purchase quickbooks in 2005 and still use it in 2009. I updated my quickbooks in 2008. This is a great product for any business.

although quickbooks is a good program, when i ran into a problem and needed guidance, Intuit informed me i would have to pay to get the assistance i needed. I had only purchased the software 2 days ago.Do not expect any technical assistance from Intuit. I would not purchase this again if i had known how little assistance was available. I could do everything i needed to do with microsoft money and get a lot more free assistance with problems. faith paton

When I bought this item I didnt realize that the seller was in Hawaii as Im on the island of Antigua a land mass and more miles to the east. The item arrived as if I had ordered it from Florida and was in perfect condition. The price was extremely reasonable and I would recommend the product and the seller to anyone.

I have recently started a small business. As most entreprenuers, I had the savy and technical knwledge, but no accounting. Quickbooks is very thorough, but can be difficult at first if you try to wing it without instructions. I give this 5 stars
