Perfect for trailer chains. Not sure why there are so many reviews that they are hard to install took literally five seconds each side.

One of the hammer locks worked fine, the other was a bad casting which prevented the halves from assembling. I had to grind down the bad casting, destroying the paint and also mill down the compression bushing in order to assemble. I didnt have the luxury of waiting for a replacement and its serving the purpose i need, but will not buy from this manufacturer in the future.

Just remember to put a little grease on the pin and in the spacer sleeve and then just a few hits with a hammer and youre done. I used marine grease, but any grease should work just fine

I don’t know what design engineer thought that the stock F2 50 chain hook ups was a good idea, but they obviously have never pulled anything in their life! This is a great fix Hi-Shear point and easy to install

I used these to build a small set of spreader chains they work very well.

Several paint chips upon delivery…noticed as soon as removed from ziplock bag. Interested to see how long before paint wears completely off.

Coupling fit well on my truck. Havent used it yet, so cant say much about it.
