Greater than one weekFeels like I’m locked in. Great composite pedals. No complaints.

> 3 dayHorrible grip. This is mainly due to the fact that the pedals is essential designed to be convex at the axle. many generic brand flat pedals nowadays with metal pins are much grippier and are even manufactured in the same factories (the quality of materials/axles will be as good). Maybe when Chesters were a brand new design years and years ago they were relatively good, but in 2022 the design is outdated and quite honestly, dangerous. Pedal slips when mountain biking can cause serious injury.

Greater than one weekI loved the color and its what my LBS told me to get. I grabbed a pair and within the first mile of riding with them, this happened (Photo). My pedal drug on a rock and ripped two of the pins out. The pedals look nice but cant hold up to a pretty normal thing in mountain biking...rocks. I reached out to Raceface and I didnt expect them to replace them but I hoped they would. They didnt, and acted like the pins ripping out like that was expected if you hit a rock. Raceface describes these things as tough...they arent

Greater than one weekWork great and make tour feet stick better than stock without the metal pegs. Be warned that the metal pegs do like skin on shins and calves or any other place with skin they come into contact with

> 3 daySeriously, these pedals are the Truth. They bite into my five tens like a baby teething into the teat. They refuse to release and keep giving me the milk of a solid ride. The make my ride firm, supple, and milky smooth. Even if I burp a tire, they still hold on, begging for more. I could crap my pants on the trail. Theyd still be there, offering sustenance that produces life. Wait...what were we talking about?

Greater than one weekI recently got into biking and bought these for an old bike I purchased. From what I read these are designed for mountain biking and keep your feet glued to the pedal. Wow! They sure do keep your feet glued onto the pedal! I originally bought these just as an upgrade from what the bike had. My 12 year old wants me to buy these for his bike.

> 3 dayI was trying to get these pedals to match the wife’s bike, but they’re not as “pink” as they look in the pictures. Great pedals, but when you’re trying to color match, just be aware they’re not PINK pink, more magenta.

> 3 dayGreat grip and light weight. After a couple hundred miles over a month or two I started hearing some crunching in the bearing. When on a remote trail the pedal fell off the spindle and the bearing came out in pieces. Not a durable pedal at all. To be fair, I did have a couple of rock strikes, but nothing terrible. Update: the second set of Chesters failed after 40 miles and zero rock strikes, pedal body again stripped off the spindle as if there was nothing holding it on. I don’t understand. Basically there is a single tiny bearing holding the pedal on the shaft, and all the lateral force is directed through that bearing.
