> 3 dayI did a lot of research on what pedals I wanted to go with. It was a toss up between OneUps and Chesters. I am very happy with the Chester Race Faces! I will note though that you will need to get a good pair of mountain biking shoes if you are going to use this product. The pins are very aggressive which makes them great out on the trail, but it would tear up a normal pair of shoes.

> 3 daySeriously, these pedals are the Truth. They bite into my five tens like a baby teething into the teat. They refuse to release and keep giving me the milk of a solid ride. The make my ride firm, supple, and milky smooth. Even if I burp a tire, they still hold on, begging for more. I could crap my pants on the trail. Theyd still be there, offering sustenance that produces life. Wait...what were we talking about?

> 3 dayGreat pedals, colors match my Yeti perfectly. Shoe stays on the pedal! I chose these over cheaper pedals, and I have zero regrets

> 3 dayI liked these pedals well enough for the price; but then the spindle snapped and caused a crash. These are dangerous. I wont buy them again, beware.

> 3 dayTheyre popular for a reason. Excellent quality. Bearings feel new after two seasons of hard use. The $45 (on average) cost is rather high considering the pin screws arent stainless steel & rust quickly. Our son has Chester pedals on one MTB & IMRider pedals on another. The price difference is significant & quality pretty close (see IMRider review)... but the Race Face Chester is hard to beat.

> 3 dayvery popular pedal and i can see why - solid construction with 2 bearings and well greased. fits small to medium foot size well. pins provide good grip. looks good on the bike. really good value at current price around $40 and worth the small premium over the $20 unbranded knock-offs out there.

> 3 dayThese pedals are a fantastic and relatively inexpensive upgrade. I rode the cheap pedals that came on my mountain bike for 6 months and found my feet would lose grip over fast, bumpy terrain. And theres nothing worse than hitting a bump on a flow trail, and then looking like an idiot searching for your pedal as youre going downhill, watching your Strava PR slip away from you. I was amazed my first ride with these pedals. With regular shoes on, my feed gripped the pedals so well, I could wiggle my heel and make my foot slide. To reposition my foot on the pedal, I have to actually pick it up and place it back down, whereas with my old pedals, I could just slide my foot around. Stop thinking about buying these and just do it. You wont be disappointed. I also went with the name brand over the popular knock offs on here because, hey, Raceface designed them, so they should get the sale.
