> 3 dayI bought these pedals for my mountain bike and absolutely love them, they were easy to install and look like they will last a long time. The color options and price make these my go-to pedals from now on!

Greater than one weekI love the color! These are sold pedals. I have them in both bikes and ride trails with jumps constantly.

> 3 dayDecent flat pedals for the price. Dont expect more than a few months of life out of them, great pedals though. Ordered yellow, got turquoise. Dont care about color but if you do, may want to purchase elsewhere.

> 3 dayTheyre popular for a reason. Excellent quality. Bearings feel new after two seasons of hard use. The $45 (on average) cost is rather high considering the pin screws arent stainless steel & rust quickly. Our son has Chester pedals on one MTB & IMRider pedals on another. The price difference is significant & quality pretty close (see IMRider review)... but the Race Face Chester is hard to beat.

> 3 dayI put these on my Specialized FatBoy Fat tire bike just to give it a POP of color. The flat pedals are awesome for riding in the sand, trails or road. I love the spikes, they are super grippy.

> 3 dayI went back and forth from Crankbrothers Stamp 1 large to Chesters, then to Stamp 1 small and finally back to Chesters. I loved the big platform on the Stamps learning to ride, but the pins simply dont stick to my mtb shoes like the Chesters after starting to ride rougher features. These grip my size 10s perfectly but I wouldnt recommend to anyone over size 12, might be too narrow. Sure the pins do hurt more, but their ability of keeping my feet locked in better has helped me avoid shin strikes in general.

> 3 dayHorrible grip. This is mainly due to the fact that the pedals is essential designed to be convex at the axle. many generic brand flat pedals nowadays with metal pins are much grippier and are even manufactured in the same factories (the quality of materials/axles will be as good). Maybe when Chesters were a brand new design years and years ago they were relatively good, but in 2022 the design is outdated and quite honestly, dangerous. Pedal slips when mountain biking can cause serious injury.

> 3 dayOnly has a single ball bearing per peddle. This means it’s not going to last long and waste energy when riding. My old TREK bike came with better peddles (dual ball bearings). I noticed this when my Yeti was harder to pedal than my friends Santa Cruz. After inspection these peddles don’t even spin more than once before the resistance stops them from spinning again.
