Race Face Chester Pedal

Pretty disappointed in these flat pedals, considering there are 1k+ reviews and 5 stars. The pedals arent actually flat. The leading and trailing edges are below the center pivot point, and my shoes constantly slip/rotate on that higher pivot point, even with the screws for grip. The MYRRZH (or whatever they are) knockoff pedals are just as light, theyre actually flat so they grip MUCH better and are half the price.

I put these on my Specialized FatBoy Fat tire bike just to give it a POP of color. The flat pedals are awesome for riding in the sand, trails or road. I love the spikes, they are super grippy.

Only used these on the street, but can tell they will be fantasstick on the trail...feet arent going anywhere. Thanks for the advice, Holt Tucker, owner of Open Road Bicycles, Jacksonville, FL!

Super gripply, will make you bleed on the trail.

I went back and forth from Crankbrothers Stamp 1 large to Chesters, then to Stamp 1 small and finally back to Chesters. I loved the big platform on the Stamps learning to ride, but the pins simply dont stick to my mtb shoes like the Chesters after starting to ride rougher features. These grip my size 10s perfectly but I wouldnt recommend to anyone over size 12, might be too narrow. Sure the pins do hurt more, but their ability of keeping my feet locked in better has helped me avoid shin strikes in general.

These were recommended by the bike shop for my ebike. Perfect! My shoes stay put, even when wet which is a huge plus. Highly recommended.

I ordered these for the color as Im developing a color scheme for My bike. I also wanted more pedal surface. The spikes really add to the grip under foot. I like them much and had wonderful communication with the team that make these pedals. Buy again ? Yes !!

Exactly as expected! These RF pedals look great and feel great when riding. The pegs grips to your shoes perfectly. Feet didn’t slip one time.

Theres a saying, if you buy cheap, expect to pay twice. I purchased the rip-off fooker pedals for much cheaper, they are a complete stolen copy of the race face design just cheaper quality. they immediately stripped my crank when I tried to put them in. i had to buy a new crank which wasnt available as a single piece so I had to buy a whole new crankset PLUS purchase new pedals. i tried to save money and ended up spending twice as much as I would have if I had just bought race face from the start.
