So I bought this as I hate the cheapo mouse work gave me for home use. This is comfy in the hand, easy to use via bluetooth or the dongle. I use this all day every day and it holds up well. I have not had a lot of gaming time but the little I have been able to do this mouse excels for what it is. Nice sensitivity range and again very comfy and looks nice. Sleek and sexy for a mouse

The good: -Mouse looks good and feels good. -Materials seem of good quality. The battery lid is held magnetically which makes it very easy to open and close. - It works very well when connected over 2.4 radio (using the includes wireless usb adapter) The bad -When connected over Bluetooth, it gets extremely laggy and clumsy. I’ve tried reconnecting it, re-installing razer synapse, changing the settings and the dpi sensitivity, all to no avail. -Sometimes it works ok and sometimes as described above, I have not yet figured out what causes this. -The razer synapse software required is very buggy on a mac (no idea how it fairs on a windows system) -No rechargeable battery Conclusion: I was looking for a Bluetooth mouse that I could connect to my touchbar macbook pro easily, hassle free and without occupying any of my usb-c ports. Where it not for the clumsy Bluetooth connection, this mouse would fulfill everything on my list. however, it is very unreliable over Bluetooth and therefore not a very good product for me. Being a razer mouse -razer is a great peripherals company with an excellent track record- I would expect a flawless product. If you plan to use this mouse using the usb adapter, then it should be a good choice for you. note* I’ve read that other users besides me were having similar problems even with apples magic mouse, so part of the problem could be on apple. This review merely states my experience using this mouse on a 2016 15macbook pro. Hope this helps!

Pros for me: Small mobile size, good for claw grip. No wire, so less drag and no possibility of a wire getting stuck up on something, and it does not drift when i let go of it (a problem when using a low drag mouse pad with a wired mouse). Perfect tracking. In 2.4 ghz mode, I did not perceive any more or less latency compared to using a wired mouse. Able to set DPI in increments of 100 in the software, and very wide range of DPIs. No software CD included, guided me to download installer when i plugged in the USB receiver. No restart required. Software is optional, can just use plug and play, but then cant change DPI. I feel that the mouse is built well. Comes with 2 AA Energizer alkaline batteries in the box. When the connection does drop with 2.4 ghz receiver, it is only for a split second, and it recovers lost mouse movement, so you do not have to correct for the lost signal by repeating the same movements again. The new beta version of Razer Synapse that installs with this mouse is really clean and modern looking, instead of having the dated gamer aesthetic of the previous version. Cons for me: Kind of heavy with 2 AA batteries installed, have to overcome a lot of inertia and so is actually not so good for twitchy games in my opinion (but i can adjust to this). Rubber grips on sides are ironically slippery when hands are sweaty, more slippery than the textured plastic surface on the top of the mouse. Rubber also does not have longevity, it will get pretty gross and come apart over time. Connection is not too reliable with the 2.4 ghz receiver plugged in to my desktop under my desk, but i will get an extension cable to have it closer to the mouse. Razer Synapse software is a 100+ MB download with a lengthy install, not a serious problem in this present day of computing but it just seems way too large for something so basic (but it does manage settings for many other Razer products as well, not just this mouse). Requires you to make a Razer account, then to be online and to log in from the app, just to change DPI. Thats asinine. Other thoughts: I would have liked a built in rechargable lithium ion battery instead, for less weight and to not have to manage batteries. I would have preferred a textured plastic grip instead of rubber, because the rubber is more slippery than plastic when hands are sweaty.

This has been the most stable wireless mouse we have used so far. We have one on each of our Win 10 Pcs. We do not use them for gaming, just regular office applications. I like that software updates automatically download and install. Another positive is one can choose bluetooth or wifi.

Great wireless mouse, razor synapse is it’s only downside, if you get stuttering or jumps , reset the mouse and re-install synapse, set the polling rate to 500hz or lower, and lift off settings to 10.

Love this mouse. Love the feel, battery life, and performance. Dont listen to the 1-star reviews on here. As far as I can tell this was only from the bluetooth feature being wonky. Ive had mine for 2 years and never needed to use the bluetooth feature once. Im not even sure why you would need it as the 2.4 works perfectly and barely drains the battery. I believe the bluetooth adds an extra feature of being able to use it on a phone that doesnt have a usb port. This is a handy feature but certainly not a necessity. Amazing mouse. If mine ever breaks (probably not for a long time) Ill happily buy another.
