We are rather avid gamers and love this game. It combines deck building and resource gathering to obtain victory points, and allows both mature strategists and beginning gamers a chance to be successful.

Love the game but disappointed our game came with little black cubes instead of the black raider pieces. The game is awesome to play the whole family loves it.

I got into the trilogy of games and theyre super fun, good game play, have enjoyable artwork, and while they have a very slight learning curve once youve got it youll really enjoy!

This is a very fun game once you get going. The most overwhelming part is setting up the game but even then once you figure it out its not hard. Its pretty fast paced and really fun. You never know who is going to win until the end and there are multiple different strategies for winning.

I showed my wife a video review for this game and I took her, That looks pretty cool. to mean, You should totally get on Amazon and buy that game right now! So I did. It turns out this worker-placement game focused on raiding a neighboring countryside and making offerings to your chieftain is the perfect blend of strategy and luck for us. The rulebook is clearly laid out and nicely illustrated, the components (especially the silver coins) are high quality, and the artwork on the cards is wonderful. I cant recommend this one enough if you like medium-light worker-placement games.

My friends and I love this game. There’s a lot of strategy and is simple for new players to learn. I can’t wait to try the expansions!

I love this game, it’s intimidating at first with how much there is going on with the board and the rules and such but seriously it’s easy to learn and you only need like 1 practice round to get used to it and then everyone should be golden. Game is super fun and addicting, replayable and fun for everyone

Great game! It has a lot more strategy than it looks. There are more ways to win that just the obviously laid out strategy on the board but no single path is a guaranteed success!
