> 3 dayAs with most worker placement games, this one takes a while to explain everything. However, once you get into the game, it’s a surprise hit. My friends keep asking me to bring it back. This is unique among worker placement games because you only ever have one worker. You place that worker, take that action, then pick up another worker and take that action. It’s a really fun mechanic. There’s a few different paths to victory, so the game has never felt stale. You get a lot of game in a surprisingly small box, and all the materials are high quality. Definitely one of the better purchases I’ve made.

Greater than one weekThis game is a lot of fun, easily learned and taught, and consists of very high quality components. It is the second game in a three game series. You do not need the other games as they are all standalone. However, with the addition of a small expansion you can link all of them together. The theme is fun and this worker placement game easily holds your interest. I have this game and Explorers of the North Sea (the third game, also excellent game, but different mechanics) and will be adding Shiprights soon. The night before it arrived I watched two YouTube videos on how to play while I perused a downloaded copy of the rules. When the game arrived the next day we broke it out and started playing. Its that quick to learn. The only think I would like to see from Garphill Games for this series is a 5, or 5-6 player expansion.

> 3 dayThis fame is very fun and the components are excellent. Slight twist on the worker placement mechanic which yields interesting choices and fun gameplay. The theme is perfect and al the pieces are great. Comes with metal coins! This is a light to mid-weight euro.

> 3 dayI have played a couple of times, it is easy to learn and my 10 and 9 year old both have the hang of the rules. My only complaint is that it is too bear & pretzel s for my taste.

> 3 dayA friend found us their copy of this game and we immediately loved it! It’s a bit simpler than our usual games (lords of waterdeep, terraforming mars, above and below series), but we love it nonetheless! But both expansions and they are great add-ons to the base game.

> 3 dayPretty fun, slow, not super competitive. It should be priced more at $20/$25. Pieces are nice quality which is likely the reason for the cost but it isn’t comparable to a lot of other games this price.

> 3 dayWe have played this game through twice and are looking forward to the next time. It has worker placement, resource collection, and card collecting mixed in and is a fun competitive game.

> 3 dayGreat game! It has a lot more strategy than it looks. There are more ways to win that just the obviously laid out strategy on the board but no single path is a guaranteed success!
