Greater than one weekExcellent. This is a large expansion that makes major and fun changes to gameplay. It feels like the most revolutionary expansion yet. Plus the artwork is great and the box makes a nice storage unit. My only complaint is that the Event cards have light blue backs instead of dark blue, which makes shuffling them in with the dark blue kingdom cards for a randomized game, as the manual suggests doing, a little awkward.

> 3 dayThis is the best Dominio expansion in my opinion. It adds more duration cards to the game which is nice, but it also as upgradable cards, which I find very intriguing. It also adds event cards, giving you additional options during your buy phase, essentially giving you an extra action. Probably adds more to the game than any other expansion Ive played.

> 3 dayOkay, so technically you should have the original Dominion before buying ANY of the expansions, but between Dominion, Dominion: Seaside, and Dominion: Adventures, this has been by far the most complicated/confusing game to play. This expansion introduces Event cards (let you buy something other than a card), Reserve cards (to pick up and play again later), as well as a set of cards that can be upgraded for coins + the cards predecessor. Unfortunately, so far, my husband and I havent found a set of cards to play with (even out of those recommended by Rio Grande) that makes the game feel balanced. Some of the cards are so powerful that if both/all players are not able to buy them near the same time, there is no catching up. Save this expansion for last.

> 3 dayGreat game addition but really poorly made. Contents dont fit in the box. Cheap, poor coloring on mats.

> 3 dayI own all the large box dominion expansions (through Nocturne at the time of writing). This one is my favorite. It can be wildly complex. There always seems to be many paths to victory. It plays great as a stand-alone expansion, and the event cards especially enhance any dominion set. Possesses a wonderful balance of introducing new concepts and of revisiting old ones. Full of cards that can alter future turns. If you were to view this as a stand-alone game, I’d say it is the best deck-builder I have ever played. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn’t mind a little complexity.

> 3 dayThis is not the expansion to get for beginners. If you are new to Dominion and would like an introduction I strongly recommend getting Dominion in the following order:

> 3 dayA fun addition to a fun game. I wouldnt say its my favorite expansion, but if you like the game and want the variety, go for it.

> 3 dayThe new mechanics are a lot of fun. Do not recommend for a newbie, but if you are comfortable with Dominion and other expansions, this is for you!
