Great expansion! I have yet to play with other sets, but I have greatly enjoyed 2, 3, and 4 player games with this set alone. I would not recommend playing this set with any new players. Even the gentle intro requires a lot of thinking and strategy. If someone is just learning the rules they might feel discouraged to play again. Great expansion for enthusiasts like myself, but hold off on introducing this set to new players.

A fun addition to a fun game. I wouldnt say its my favorite expansion, but if you like the game and want the variety, go for it.

Great addition to the Dominion series.

This expansion is amazing! A must have for any Dominion fan. Tons of new mechanics, including event cards (awesome!), upgradeable cards (peasant and page), all kinds of tokens (+1 and -1 to card, action, buy, or coin), treasure ATTACK cards, reserve cards, and much more. Also notable is the return of durations (with some being just a tad OP...but Im not complaining!).

This expansion is dominion on steroids. The synergy of card combos makes this outstanding. The new card types (travellers and reserve, plus the events) really ramp up the whole game.

Great game. Its not the expansion for first timers, as it can get very complicated. I recommend this for players who are getting board of regular dominion, and/or want to own all of them.

This was a very enjoyable expansion from start to finish.

I have the base game of Dominion along with two other of its expansions (Seaside, Prosperity). I havent played with the entire expansion yet but the card component quality is terrible. Most people have criticized the card stock being a bit flimsier or thinner than the other sets. I agree with their criticism. However, I find the other issues to be more problematic. The alignment of the imagery of the cards to the black boarder is off on many cards. The corners of at least 90% of my cards in this expansion have been slightly bent. The back of the cards are faded out or have a much lighter coloring than cards from other sets. How this expansion passed quality control is baffling. If this expansion interests you in terms of gameplay I recommend waiting until they produced a second printing or get this expansion at a highly reduced price.
