> 3 dayGot this for Christmas 2020 -- played about 5 times, now. My husband and I agree that it has a lot of replayability. I might take off 1/2 star (4.5 stars) for the cardboard tokens (rather than metal or plastic), though I realize they have to represent each of up to 6 players, so probably easier to do various colors in cardboard. Playing a lot of Dominion and other board games during Covid quarantine -- we like this one because it has lot of new things going on compared to the base game. Because there is a gentle introduction to the game, you can get your feet wet without being submerged in new mechanics. I found it potentially busier than the other expansions we own (Prosperity, Hinterlands, Guilds/Cornucopia, Seaside, base game), but if youre used to Euro board games, the new elements are easy to understand and the cards/directions are pretty clear on using the tokens, etc. Plus, you dont have to use all of the different elements in one game, so can tone down how much is going on. We have played with the Event cards, but often forget to use, or dont find the two that came up very useful. If you enjoy Dominion, youll enjoy this expansion and it will add plenty of different things to do/keep track of. (Event cards, Cards that can upgrade, tokens to add to kingdom piles or your deck that influence play for one turn or the game, Duration cards that last two turns, etc.)

> 3 dayThis expansion is dominion on steroids. The synergy of card combos makes this outstanding. The new card types (travellers and reserve, plus the events) really ramp up the whole game.

18-04-2025I love Dominion, and this expansion made the game a lot more complicated, and a lot more fun. It adds a ton of strategy and new pathways to victory. If you think Dominion, the base game, is complicated this will probably be over your head, but if you really enjoy the base game, and other games like Catan and/or Ticket to Ride, then youll probably love this too.

Greater than one weekFirst off the game is only for 2-4 players not the stated 2-6. We got this version over another version because it was up to 6 people. Second, it doesnt say anywhere that this is only the expansion pack! They need better descriptions on whether it is a standalone expansion or expansion pack! Extremely disappointed!

> 3 dayI own all the large box dominion expansions (through Nocturne at the time of writing). This one is my favorite. It can be wildly complex. There always seems to be many paths to victory. It plays great as a stand-alone expansion, and the event cards especially enhance any dominion set. Possesses a wonderful balance of introducing new concepts and of revisiting old ones. Full of cards that can alter future turns. If you were to view this as a stand-alone game, I’d say it is the best deck-builder I have ever played. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn’t mind a little complexity.
