Rit DyeMore Liquid Dye, Tropical Teal

I called the Rit Dye help line for advice on how to dye a dress the perfect color. It was a mix of two dyes that I couldnt find at the store so I ordered through Amazon. The Tropical Teal dye did not have the seal on the top and was only about 3/4 full. There wasnt any dye on the bottle or in the package so I dont see any evidence of leakage.... it looks like someone had opened it and used part of the dye. I was on a time crunch and had to dye my dress today. The recipe called for an entire bottle of Tropical Teal - I used all that was in the bottle and even rinsed the bottle to get all the dye I could out of the bottle. Needless to say, my dress didnt turn out the exact shade -- I can only assume it was because I didnt have all of the Tropical Teal dye that was required for the mix. Very disappointed.

This is literally the best dye for any kind of fabric

This dye works if you can submerge the item you are coloring. Does not work well on furniture unless you can submerge it under heat as instructed in directions. Otherwise it is very difficult to get an even color. Used on chairs but they came out uneven in color and light. I used two bottles of dye and the fixative. Gonna try spray paint for an even look. Recommend if you can follow directions.

Perfect Tiffany Blue coloring!!! This product was very easy to use and was delivered in speedy fashion!!

Bought to try and bring back the color in my outdoor patio furniture cushions. It probably is nothing to do with the dye and everything to do with the fabric. It was worth the try, but didnt work for my needs.

It was not as vibrant as it seemed. I was dying polyester so it may have been the material but I still liked the color. Ended up more of a baby blue!

I ordered the Tropical Teal dye for synthetics to dye some fabric shower curtains for my new classroom. I got the dye today and the outside of the bottle was the perfect shade! Unfortunately, when I dyed my shower curtains (all 6 of them), they came out electric blue! I am so disappointed because I thought I found the perfect color. I’m not sure if the dye I received was mislabeled or if “Tropical Teal” is actually just supposed to be electric blue.
