> 3 dayDye worked super well for getting the color I wanted on my horses shoes. It took a while longer than the purple to get a good concentration of color in the plastic, but it came out EXACTLY the color I was hoping for. Threw some socks in afterward too and they turned out great as well. Best part, I can probably do 3 or 4 batches with just theb1 bottle!

Greater than one weekI wanted blue sandals for my wedding. I could not find any I liked in any other color besides white I bought the tropical teal and dyed the sandals myself.. I love the way they turned out. I cannot wait till we get married to wear them.

> 3 dayHad to buy a steel pot to cook this in, and it wasnt easy to use. Color didnt come out well; had streaks throughout the garment.

> 3 dayI did not like having to stand over a boiling pot for 30 minutes stirring. I stirred it every few minutes and I guess it was enough because the synthetic cushion covers for my patio frniture turned out perfect!

> 3 dayUsed this to die hammocks. It was a process but they came out beautiful. We used a very large, deep tamale pot to dye the hammocks w hot water and had to rinse out on the clothing line with water hose then soak in vinegar to seal color.. was a tiring process but worth it in the end.

> 3 dayIt states it is not for cotton fabric and it is true. It dyes unevenly on pure cotton. It’s a good color and I’m going to try it on some other fabric blends.

> 3 dayI am so disappointed with RIT dyes. i have been using on upholstered pieces, with good results. UNTIL THIS. despite having the same name TEAL as their dye for regular, natural fabrics, this dye for synthetic fabrics is NOWHER NEAR the same color. the dye for natural fibers really was TEAL, this, also, perhaps humorously, called TEAL is pure blue. I am very disappointed and will not use RIT dyes again-- or recommend them since they cant even match their own colors!
