I received a keyboard covered in gunk with giant hairballs between the keys directly out of the box. Clearly not a new product like advertised.

I use this for programming and writing. So, the first thing that had to change was the crazy dynamic i.e. distracting lighting. Fortunately that was easy to do but did require downloading some software on Windows. I have it set fort a very eye friendly non distracting Ice Blue. The base is solid but not too heavy. The key stroke is very forgiving, which I like a lot. Programming you need to hit a lot of special keys and I often partially miss or hit at an angle. This keyboard seems to still do the right thing in those cases! It does have a slight ping to the key clicks. Its not super annoying but could bother office mates a bit (Im work from home) A great feature is the solid cable attachment. Its full USB-C, its secure and not coming loose like my last keyboard. The one negative is that they included a very cheap connecting cable that was dead out of the box! I had plenty of good USB C cables around so it wasnt a show stopper but, I nice keyboard like this should come with an equally nice cable! Dropping one star because of that

The build quality is great, there is no wobble of the keys, and the typing experience is solid. The issues I have with it are the lack of compatibility of the Swarm software that is required to take advantage of many of this keyboards features. If you dont have a Windows computer you are limited to what functions are pre built into the keyboard and the 3 (yes 3) onboard lighting effects. For the record these effects are gradient on (some orange color gradient,) rainbow flow right, and rainbow flow left. For a keyboard that has awesome clear switch housings, the limited number of on board RGB lighting effects is unforgivable.

Ive never written a review for a product on the same day as receiving it, but I was so impressed with this keyboard I immediately bought a second for my nephew and Im ready to slam a 5-star. This is my first experience with linear actuation or optical switches. Ive heard people say this board does a pretty good job with typing -- so that its useful for beyond just gaming -- and let me just say, that holds true. Im quite a speedy touch typist (120+ wpm), and I can type as fast as ever with only minimal errors, which should only improve with some more time on the board. I saw some say this keyboard is loud, but it isnt really. I suspect this is from people bottoming out on their key strokes, but if youre a more skilled typist you will learn the actuation point and type much lighter and quieter since the linear switches dont require you to bottom out your presses. When it comes to gaming, wow, what a difference. The smooth strokes and quick response feels like it has lifted the skill ceiling on movement. I can actually dance around with my hand on the keyboard much faster to do the things I want to do, and I feel much more precise. I did not expect a keyboard to make such a big difference, but if you are being bottlenecked on a slower board, then this definitely will make a difference for you as it has for me. The weight of the board is really solid and the key presses are super soft. The RGB looks great and you can assign different lighting to individual keys in the software. Only one gripe so far: ABS keycaps. For a $140 board it would be nice to have PBT, but I knew this when I got it. Still, the finish on the keys is actually very nice and feels much better than your typical ABS caps. The tldr of all this -- amazing for gaming, yet still solid for typing. Super comfy to type on and feels quality.
