Rockford Fosgate 8 AWG Amplifier Install Kit with Interconnect

Decent quality cables here. A true 8-gauge power wire, not like some of the cheaper stuff with thick sleeves. My only issue was that in my Grand Marquis, there was barely enough wire to run from the battery back to the trunk. I went over the passenger side wheel well, through the firewall, under the door sill, up behind the rear seat, directly into the trunk. I only have about 3 feet (or less) of slack in the trunk. So I had to place the sub upside down (so the connection panel was facing the passenger side of the vehicle) to get this to reach. Most vehicles arent as big as a Grand Marquis, so you should be fine with this, but always measure, and allow for more than you think youll need!

I am very upset with this install kit. The wire quality, specifically for the red power wire is great. Is it worth 2 or 3 times the price of cheaper kits that use thinner copper? Maybe. This kit only comes with one pair of RCA inputs. Which is pretty useless for most people buying this amp who will need 2 pairs. The blue remote turn on wire was knotted so tightly that it actually damaged the cord internally. The pre-installed ends of the ground and power wire are huge and did not fit in my amp without modification. The directions are very unclear if you are keeping your factory head unit. And finally, the little bag of accessories came with a couple butt connectors (not needed at all), only one eye (two are needed for install), and a plastic cylinder instead of a real rubber grommet (cheap). Overall this kit comes off as incomplete since I needed to buy so many more things to actually install my amp.

Hooked it all up and found subwoofer not receiving power. Isolated fault to hot wire in kit. Replaced it with 10g stranded wire from Box Store and problem solved. Overpriced kit for a bunch of 10g and 18g wire + connections. Chinese junk.

This kit made my Rockford Fosgate powered 10 sub install so much easier and so much cleaner! With this kit, the install literally look less than 30 minutes

Great wiring kit. Glad i bought this one over some of the cheaper kits. I will say the RCA cable needs to be a little longer. I have a small hatchback and was able to make it work. But if you have a larger car with a trunk it might be a little short.

I bought this kit out of convenience, thinking it would be quicker and easier to get a good quality kit to install the amp. An added incentive was a one-year extension of my amps warranty for using this kit. The wire quality seemed to be just fine, and I didnt have a problem with the fuse holder. The quality of the wire connectors didnt seem to be that good, and the zip-ties broke from tightening them with just one hand. I installed the amp in the back of a Dodge Durango, and even with careful running of the wires, they came up about 5 short of being able to connect to the head unit, and no where near connecting to the battery. I had to go to the store and buy 4ga wire, RCA extensions, and wire for the remote amp turn on. Given the extra cost involved, I could have just gone to the store and bought what I needed in the first place for less money. If your run from the battery to your amp, and head-unit to amp is less than say 10, you should be fine.

Great wire kit, nothing cheap about it. Definitely above average quality wiring and came with everything that I needed.

This fit my Dodge Durango. I should have bought 4 gauge wire because Im running a 1200 watt kicker amp with 2- 12 inch subs. Its working so far.

The best amp install kit hands down that works great on any small amp. It made my install a lot easier when I hooked up my Kicker CXA300.1 class D amp for my Kicker Comp 10 sub. The best part the installation kit is that the wires is already crimped and ready to connect to your battery and ground.
