Greater than one weekI bought this when I purchased a kenwood Bluetooth amp and mcm wake board speakers to put in my Rhino. Its a good kit but was an unnecessary purchase for that particular amp. I only ended up using the power and ground wire but they have performed flawlessly for 1 yr now.

Greater than one weekGot this for a alpine PWE-S8. Didn’t think the thickness was the right size until I saw it was O2 free copper. Kit worked great. Didn’t end up using the ground as the subs ground was long enough for me.

> 3 dayReal copper, not only color on aluminum. While the oxygen adds to quality it doesnt add to the amp in any way from non oxygen but it is worth it for the safety of your cars electrical system and safety with power current. I would not go the other way after years of seeing other mishaps and burns

> 3 dayThis is getting returned fast. I was actually really disappointed in this considering all the rave reviews and the Rockford Fosgate name. Unfortunately it looks like theyre saving every ounce of copper they can, because the 8 AWG kit I picked up at my local audio shop to use instead was the same diameter at the outside of the jacket, but with a lot more copper and a lot less sleeve. (Cheaper to boot - this is expensive for what youre getting) Im sure the wire itself would be fine if youre not pushing the power envelope of an 8 AWG install (my kits only pulling 13.5-14 amps so 10 or even 12 would probably be fine, but I like overkill). I wouldnt really call it a safety issue for most people but know what youre getting into, because the only reason I chose this over similar cheaper kits listed here was the assurance that this was true 8 AWG. My real problem was the garbage fuse holder and premade connection. I like to install the fuse last, after the wire is run and everythings connected, so I tried to remove the fuse from the holder. The screw off ends twist the wire when coming apart, and it stripped the wire right out of the connector without very much force applied at all. If the premade connection is that bad, theres no way it wasnt going to vibrate out down the road somewhere and cause me a serious problem. Satisfied with the quality of everything but the fuse holder and questionable wire gauge. Remote turn on wire and RCA signal wires are good quality, as is the hardware, crimps and etc included.
