Rockford Fosgate 8 AWG Amplifier Install Kit with Interconnect

This isnt just some cheap wire. This stuff has a great feel and it is thick. Carries my bass signal with no problems at all! Definitely would buy this again

I know nothing about car stereo but took it to an installer that has been installing for over 28 years and he was really impressed with the kit. Couple it with Rockford Amp and this will double the warranty of the amp. Not to mention this kit uses oxygen free copper which i really dont know exactly what it is but no other kit in this price range seemed to use that and every installer in my area said that was a must. Great kit at an amazing price.

All of the wire seems to be of pretty high quality. Two things worth noting: Mine came packaged with a 60A fuse, not a 40A as listed (and I dont even think youd want to run 60A of current through an 8Ga wire, check the charts, 40A is more appropriate). And the bracket for the fuse holder was broken when I removed it from the package. I am not going to bother returning this, because I figure that if it would be broken out of the box then it will probably break sooner or later down the road anyways. It seems to be of pretty flimsy build, or possibly defective material. Thats why I took a star off.

This package includes all the things you would need to install a woofer and amplifier. The red wire from the battery (+) was long enough for my VW to install into my truck. The black wire (-) is much shorter and I drilled a hole in my truck to make contact to the ground. Pretty easy overall. Also includes a blue remote wire thats long enough to connect fron amp to head radio receiver.

I am very upset with this install kit. The wire quality, specifically for the red power wire is great. Is it worth 2 or 3 times the price of cheaper kits that use thinner copper? Maybe. This kit only comes with one pair of RCA inputs. Which is pretty useless for most people buying this amp who will need 2 pairs. The blue remote turn on wire was knotted so tightly that it actually damaged the cord internally. The pre-installed ends of the ground and power wire are huge and did not fit in my amp without modification. The directions are very unclear if you are keeping your factory head unit. And finally, the little bag of accessories came with a couple butt connectors (not needed at all), only one eye (two are needed for install), and a plastic cylinder instead of a real rubber grommet (cheap). Overall this kit comes off as incomplete since I needed to buy so many more things to actually install my amp.

Great wire kit, nothing cheap about it. Definitely above average quality wiring and came with everything that I needed.

Product is a definite buy! Used this kit with 3 ten inch subs and it works great. Easy to install, wire thickness is good, correct supplies. If youre looking for a good product i recommend this.

Quality product power cord could be about 3’ longer for my double cab Silverado but made it work.

great quality but was to small for my 2 amplifier so i ahve to buy bigger gauge
