Rockford Fosgate 8 AWG Amplifier Install Kit with Interconnect

All of the wire seems to be of pretty high quality. Two things worth noting: Mine came packaged with a 60A fuse, not a 40A as listed (and I dont even think youd want to run 60A of current through an 8Ga wire, check the charts, 40A is more appropriate). And the bracket for the fuse holder was broken when I removed it from the package. I am not going to bother returning this, because I figure that if it would be broken out of the box then it will probably break sooner or later down the road anyways. It seems to be of pretty flimsy build, or possibly defective material. Thats why I took a star off.

pretty nice kit. Pos and Neg leads are just fine. RCA is cheap. I like that it came with a fuse and was pre assembled, but really, how hard is that? The factory terminations were strong. wont buy this for my other vehicle.

Great quality and 100 percent copper wire. Power cable was 3 foot too short for my trailblazer and had to splice.

Very well made product!!! Everything hooked up well with my MTX bass tube. Very happy with it all. Kinda wish you could shorten the length of RCA cables...oh well.

Nice complete kit for a clean and simple install. I hooked up a 300 watt JL Audio amp that’s pushing a JL Audio 10. This kit was perfect for what I needed and good quality.

Decent quality cables here. A true 8-gauge power wire, not like some of the cheaper stuff with thick sleeves. My only issue was that in my Grand Marquis, there was barely enough wire to run from the battery back to the trunk. I went over the passenger side wheel well, through the firewall, under the door sill, up behind the rear seat, directly into the trunk. I only have about 3 feet (or less) of slack in the trunk. So I had to place the sub upside down (so the connection panel was facing the passenger side of the vehicle) to get this to reach. Most vehicles arent as big as a Grand Marquis, so you should be fine with this, but always measure, and allow for more than you think youll need!

This kit it good for the price, but it doesn’t come with all the terminal connectors needed for complete installation. I have installed this kit and it and everything is working(fingers crossed).

Must have for RF 8P You need a kit. Might as well match the sub up with quality wiring.
