I actually bought the RSHTECH model that has 7 ports last December. When I got it, 1 of the 7 ports didnt work, but I thought oh well Ive still got 6 that work. Now another one has stopped working. This not what I would call a quality item. Im going to look for a more reliable product.

If I plug in a usb3 drive often my mouse stops working. Ive seen this with a couple different drives.

I bought this as a fix for the lack of usb ports on my laptop. I set it up, plugged it in to both the outlet and my computer and it was perfect! I was able to use my mouse, keyboard, and microsoft webcam at the same time, which I couldnt even do with other usb hubs, because my webcam previously had to be plugged directly into my laptop. The fact that this product was powered fixed that. Then I unplugged it from my laptop so I could use it on my bed. When I later returned to my desk, the hub worked on its own, plugged into the wall- it would charge my phone and even my mouse would light up. But the moment I tried to connect it to my computer, all the lights would turn off and it would cease to function. It would even register on the system report as a usb device! Yet wouldnt function. This completely defeated the purpose of me purchasing this product. Because it worked great, I discarded the packaging and am now stuck with a useless thing that cant be used for what I need. Dang.

Already test many USB Ports. Im using this specifically for Audiophile purposes, and works very well. Obviously You will need a USB reclocker and USB noise reduction to better results.

This thing constantly connects and disconnects all the time. Its really annoying because itll show its connected and you cant use the drive at all you have the keep unplugging it and plugging it back up. I would return if I was within the window.

Worked great for what I needed

This is not more useful than a cheap, unpowered usb hub since even with the AC power adapter, your drives will click-click-click and be unable to spin up fully if there are more than 2 plugged in at once.

I am very happy with the USB hub works well and a good price.

This unit is a piece of garbage. It worked for about 5 days, they started flickering the power to devices plugged in (even the led light flickered). Then it just stopped working all together. AVOID THIS JUNK - BUYER BEWARE!
