> 3 dayI purchased this to make it easier to reach the usb ports on my computer. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. There is a button on each slot that toggles between having it active or not. A blue light lets you know when it is live. I havent had any problems with this product and am happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayEven with 4 USB ports on my Mac Mini I found I needed two more. This Hub works perfectly and is well built. The individual port switches make for greater convenience.

> 3 dayWhen I turn the machine on with the Rshtec hub installed, I get a message USB device not recognized. However one external HD works (Segate 5TB Backup plus) while another will not (Segate 8TB Backup plus). This same thing occurs with only one or both HDs plugged into the hub. Amazon Tech Support tried but couldnt help and I found it impossible to contact the manufacturer. In the computers Device manager one of the devices says Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed). I havent been able to reset the device by deleting it and rebooting the computer. Im returning this hub.
