I actually bought the RSHTECH model that has 7 ports last December. When I got it, 1 of the 7 ports didnt work, but I thought oh well Ive still got 6 that work. Now another one has stopped working. This not what I would call a quality item. Im going to look for a more reliable product.

Great product

My PC has a 180W power supply, which works fine, even with a modest video card - but in such a case I want to tax the power supply as little as possible. Extra USB ports are needed, but having them run off their own AC power plug instead of pulling any additional juice off the PC bus helps a little, Id imagine. This is an attractive, compact little unit with sharp-looking blue LED lights with the on/off power switches. Matches my other stuff (keyboard, mouse) and looks great. Recommended.

This USB is really good, cost effective, charging and transmission in one, transmission speed is fast, and the design is very fine, each socket corresponding to a switch you can control, multiple simultaneous operation without pressure, satisfaction!

I dont know about long-term durability as Ive had this USB hub only a week or so, but so far it does exactly what I want. I like that I can turn devices off by using the push buttons rather than unplugging them and the leds made me realize that my laptop was supplying power to devices even when it was off and not plugged in and the usb hub was unplugged. So I do need to unplug the usb hub after powering off the computer to prevent battery drain.

Even when plugged in, this device couldnt carry a signal for high-end audio equipment.

Does what it says and it works really well I am loving it

Was able to downgrade from a power strip and cubes. Takes up hardly any space. Very portable for traveling.
