> 3 dayOverall the lock was easy to install. I did have to apply upward pressure on the lock while I tightened the screws because the top of the lock did not quite cover the hole in the door. Also need to move the strike plate up a little for the latch to clear it. Programing the lock was easy too. Overall satisfied with the lock and its construction, installation and operation.

03-06-2025The product itself is excellent. Quality all metal construction. Feels solid in your hands. Programming the keypad and key fobs was very simple. The real issue came when removing my existing handle. For the life of me, I could not get the plate around the existing latch and deadbolt off. Tried and failed repeatedly with my screwdriver. Then read, the manufacturer of my door may have used an adhesive, such as Loctite, to secure the screws. Read further to find a heat gun or solder would be necessary to heat up the screws and loosen them. Went and bought a soldering tool heated up the screws, but still could not get them out. Tried so hard that I eventually stripped the screws. Then went and bought a screw extractor from the hardware store. It was worthless, didnt work at all. Finally, I just decided to drill out the screws, but the screws were stainless steel, so I needed to buy a Cobalt bit. Bought a 1/4 Cobalt bit and EUREKA within a few minutes I drilled away the stripped screw head and the plate fell right off. This is no reflection on RVLOCK, the product itself is great, just a warning that if indeed your current handle manufacturer didnt go overboard in how their latch plate is attached, this install may very well take only 10 minutes. If however if your current handle was like mine, it could take you two days to install as it did me. Product is excellent but install times may vary.

> 3 dayWe have loved having this lock and have found the usefulness is well worth the purchase. However, recently I had a problem with the key after having owned the lock for some time. I called and spoke to Courtney who was not only cordial, understanding, and professional, but she also quickly honored the lifetime* warranty and resolved my issue rapidly. I would highly recommend them for their product and service!

Greater than one weekInstallation was the 10 minute effort they said it would be. Programming was simple. Entry is now easier than before as I do not have to figure if I have the right key We have a keyless entry on our home so it makes sense to have one on the trailer.
