> 24 hourUnless you know for a fact that it will physically fit in the motherboard used by you avoid getting the heatsink. Just looking at the motherboard specifications fails to count. This mistake was made by me when building a new computer. [MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI] was purchased by me but when assembling the computer this M.2 Internal SSD the screw meant to lock the memory against its connector failed to line up with the hole for it in the motherboard. However, the computer is being used by me right now to type this review. So without the heatsink, the M.2 Internal SSD works great, to the distortion of mine. Yet as an amateur, a guru or professional may know of some fix or workaround that is unknown to me. For sharing Gravity, grateful to you am I. That the Goddess is asked to alighten a path towards love, joy, & happiness along the self’determined life’cycle chosen by the Higher’Self of yours, by you, pray do I.

> 24 hourI like the speed of the Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD. I have had other NVMe drives that claim speeds they can never reach such as the Intel Optane NVMe is actually slower than a SSD on SATA 6 port UPDATE 11-25-2021; After running this drive just a few months on an ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E GAMING WIFI Motherboard Houston - We have a problem . It has been my boot drive from day 1. I am running Intel Core i7-11700K @ 5.0 GHz Unlocked LGA 1200 ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming WiFi Motherboard DDR4 4X M.2 Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 16GB (2 x 8GB) 4400MHz Performance Memory Kit - PVS416G440C9K x2 32GB 1600W power supply , Thermaltake Cosmos full tower. avg idle temp 42c, loaded avg 53c, highest ever recorded 64c Drive has encountered an error and now reports 0GB. I have reset the CMOS, I have never overclocked the system, ran memtest no problems, Processor seems to be working or the memtest would not work. Power supply is working fine on all rails. trouble shooting now will update with results.

> 24 hourThis M.2 SSD is a great looking memory card. The memory card will be installed in a CLX computer with an ASRock Phantom Gaming X570 Board (AMD Ryzen 3900X). The drive will be utilized as a second SSD memory card, not for the operating system. Hope it will aid in video editing. It is advised to use a heat-sink with this unit. A great heat-sink is offered by Sabrent but I decided to use a lower-profile two-piece heat-sink ($10). A YouTube video shows this is a very good memory for heat-dissipation even if it is not used with a heat-sink...but instructions indicate it should be used with a heat-sink. Im using a low-profile heat-sink so as to have sufficient space (head-room) if I decide to use a second GPU board that would be right on top of it. Current GPU board is an Aorus 2080. If used as a second SSD, you need to go to Microsoft Disk Management...assign a Drive letter, format it, etc...YouTube video(s) will help you. You may use this for you Operating System too. There are YouTube videos to help you. Memory card comes in a metal case with an instruction manual. This a GEN 4 device.

> 24 hourGot it on a sale for a friend so I tried it out myself. Works reliably snappy and fast, but not THE fastest on the market. Roughly 2-3 times faster than my other Western Digital NVME

> 24 hourI decided to buy this to replace my SATA OS drive with this NVMe. After cloning the drive, my system now boots completely within 40 seconds. Previously, it was taking up to 5-6 minutes to completely boot up. This thing is amazing and definitely worth it.

> 24 hourThis drive was worked very good for 3 years but it started causing crashing issues about 3 years in to its life and I have been forced to replace it. When I made this purchase it was $180 for a 1TB Drive, which I expected to last longer than it did.

> 24 hourSabrent Storage drives in my personal opinion are the best drives I have used in multiple situations... This is for the purchase I made of x2 1TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 Gen4 M.2 Drives... I bought both of these one night when they were having a quick sale with half off the original pricing... I was building a new PC and grabbed them while I could... They have been nothing but reliable and super fast! I use them in my Gigabyte Motherboard M.2 Slots #2 & #3 as Storage & Backup. (My Slot #1 holds a 500MB Samsung 980 Pro I grabbed when that was on sale just for my OS) I wouldve added another Sabrent M.2 drive like these 1TB models as my OS however I wanted to test out Samsungs high end M.2 as so far only Sabrent & Samsung have been the best choices from all the research Ive gone thru... Its just Samsung usually gets 2nd place with me vs Sabrent due to cost but when theres a sale thats different at times... These each have a capacity of 1TB & the software used with them to analyze the drives and keep them updated runs perfectly fine... Ive had zero issues with Sabrent Drives and will continue to purchase them... If anyone is interested in an awesome external USB-C (to usb-c or to usb-a it has 2 cables) I would check out the Sabrent 1TB Rocket Nano External SSD Drive! Its amazing for portable storage and its extremely fast with data transfers! Its built in USB 3.2 gives speeds of 1,000MB/s! Check it out if u like on Amazon... search for: SB-1TB-NANO-BLK
