> 3 dayPurchased on Sep 21, 2020, died on Oct 28th, 2022. For this reason, I cant recommend. Get a Samsung, the one I bought years before this Sabrent is still working. For speed, 990 pro or SK hynix p41. I got the p41 and it blows this Sabrent out of the water in terms of speed (well see about reliability). Getting speeds almost 100% faster on the p41 than the Sabrent. Oh, and when an NVME dies - thats it - you cant even detect the drive to try to recover any data. Keep that in mind and backup important things to another drive regularly.

> 3 dayThis SSD was my first M.2. Ive ever owned and boy, was it extremely fast. I had set this up with the heatsink solution and made it my primary OS drive. No other changes made, and just let it go. Fast forward one year later, almost to the day, and my PC begins to have massive issues and BSODs. Come to realize the drive was failing. Backed up my data, and formatted. However, the drive completely died after formatting and it doesnt seem like I can get any assistance with this. ***UPDATE 11/11*** Sabrent support was really helpful in the RMA process and was able to replace the failed drive quickly. Its still a bit frustrating that the lifespan isnt long at all, but Im glad they were able to help resolve the problem.

> 3 dayThe plastic wrap for the packaging was slightly damaged in some small areas, but everything else was almost like brand new. The SSD works, and it reads/writes crazy fast!

> 3 dayPurchased September 2020, This drive worked like a dream when I first got it. Read/write speeds through the roof, and starting up the computer was as fast as waking my old computer from sleep. However, at the beginning of this month (April 2023), it catastrophically failed. Blue screen of death, and BIOS doesn’t even show the drive anymore. It looks like I might’ve gotten a faulty one.. conveniently failing outside of the manufacturer’s warranty. Don’t know how I’m going to recover my stuff from it. It works great at first, but I don’t know that I’d recommend it.

> 3 dayUsing this as the boot drive in a X570 Aorus Master with 3900XT to take advantage of PCIe 4. This thing benches pretty much as fast as the specs state. Super fast drive. Windows 10 boot times are very good. A little pricey, and a less expensive PCIe 3 drive would in practice be just as good for almost all applications. I have an XPG SX8200 Pro 2TB and so far cannot tell the difference between the two drives in daily use. Using a synthetic benchmark the Sabrent is ~25% faster, and the XPG is no slouch of a drive either. CrystalMark with Default settings shown as point of reference, no attempts made to optimize. Posted test result for the XPG in that review as well. Temperatures on the Sabrent are a few degrees higher than the XPG. This could be a function of mounting location, not sure, have not tested for that. Other than paying the premium for PCIe4, would consider purchasing again even though PCIe 3 is likely suitably fast for all but the most demanding of applications. If you want the fastest, buy this Sabrent.

> 3 dayIm extremely happy with my purchase of the SABRENT 2TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. Its a beast of a drive that delivers blazing-fast performance and plenty of storage space for all my games and files. It was easy to install on my motherboard that supports PCIe 4.0, and it came with a free cloning software that helped me transfer my data from my old drive. The SABRENT Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 SSD has an impressive sequential read speed of up to 5,000 MBps and a sequential write speed of up to 4,400 MBps, which is much faster than any SATA or PCIe 3.0 SSD Ive ever used. It also has a high endurance rating of up to 3,600 TBW, which means it will last me for years without any degradation or failure. The drive looks sleek and stylish with its black PCB and gold sticker, and it comes with a 5-year warranty if you register it online within 90 days of purchase. I also like that it supports NVMe 1.3 protocol, SMART and TRIM functions, and firmware updates. The SABRENT Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 SSD is hands down the best SSD Ive ever owned, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their PC or laptop with a fast, reliable, and high-capacity drive.
