> 3 dayI installed this as a second drive for doing video editing mostly. It was generally easy to install ( the utility from the website is not as user friendly if you are not familiar with drive cloning, transfer, and format types ). It is definitely faster than some of previous generation SSDs that I had been using.

> 3 dayDrive failed within 45 days like the headline says. BSOD occurred with an uncorrectable error before booting to it again thinking it was a driver error only to happen again with a process1 initialization error. That caused the drive to not be discoverable through bios or file explorer. Tried to use chkdsk only to not start and other software to try to recover any corruption that may be on the software side. Nothing worked and the only test that worked was where it detected over 50k bad sectors before the drive crashed the test and disappears from detection again. Reached out to Sabrent for support, will report back once I hear back from them. Edit: Got ahold of support and with some hiccups on that, they RMA’d the failed drive and sent a replacement once they received the drive. Took about a total of 3-4 weeks to finally get the new drive.

> 3 daySo far Ive got 4 of these, all 4 the 1tb version, 2 of them with the cooler and 2 of them without. The with are being used in my main workstation as a main and backup OS drive, and have performed splendidly for the past couple of years. The other 2 I recently got for tiering for my NAS--which were installed on a PCIE card with an integrated cooler so didnt need the cooling unit. So far they are working well in that role. The drive has been robust and aside from the occasional hiccups from poorly optimized resource-hog games (which might not even be this drives fault), they have ran like a champ. I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayI decided to buy this to replace my SATA OS drive with this NVMe. After cloning the drive, my system now boots completely within 40 seconds. Previously, it was taking up to 5-6 minutes to completely boot up. This thing is amazing and definitely worth it.

Greater than one weekReplaced my WD Black NVME 3.0 and replaced it with this one and downloaded windows and it worked perfect for a week or 2 . I Had issues with heat and booting into windows . Slapped my old NVMe Back in and it worked . The issue was with this Sabrent stick so I called customer service here in states , they never answered my calls like 5 times left a message went in their customer help line and left a message and received help via email , rep emailed me in how to set up my nvme In Bios lmao and how to download their software app . I gave up . Dont get me wrong I think this is a super product to purchase but their customer service is really bad and their website to download specific driver for your NVMe model is bad . You shouldn’t have any issues with their products I just think I had a defected NVMe . I had to power erase the NVMe M.2 and manually search for the right driver to download for this specific model myself and fixed the issue myself after hours of researching on the websites. Sabrent your products are a bit expensive for having bad customer service . Won’t be purchasing this product again

> 3 dayThis SSD has been an excellent piece of new custom built PC (Dec.2020) The performance is remarkable, of course just about most NVMe SSDs would be amazing, when coming from an old custom built PC (Sept.2012) After 3 months of use, the benchmark shows that this SSD rocks! Make sure youre using a motherboard with PCI Express 4.0 capability. I would recommend this SSD to anyone who wants amazing performance, and that they can afford it. Its newer technology, and the price is reasonable for it. I use this drive as my main OS drive (of course, lol) The boot time for Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is very fast, in just under 30 seconds! Ive listed my system specs below. - AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16 Core CPU - 128 GB Gskill DDR4 3200 RAM - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master Motherboard - Sabrent 2 TB NVMe PCI 4.0 SSD (boot drive) - No point in listing other disk drives - Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT GPU (Was very hard to find) - Be Quiet Case (Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2) - Be Quiet 1200W PSU

Greater than one weekI havent gotten to my build or to testing the drive, but on unboxing it I notice a few things that bug me: 1) There is no S/N printed on the package or the included case (case seems like wasted cost honestly) 2) The heat spreader for the control chip must have been placed manually because its crooked. Sorry for the potato quality photo but you can see the PCD numbering where its evident. Not going to impact performance one iota, but its a loss for aesthetics 3) Including a manual that first talks about the heat spreader it didnt come with - I get it, the drive needs more cooling than what it has, and is either going to get that from the branded heat sink or a motherboard counterpart, but it just seems odd to put it there while selling a SKU that doesnt include the cooler. I imagine the performance once tested will be synonymous with crystal benches already posted and will update review if anything changes.
