> 24 hourI installed the Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD Extreme Performance Solid State Drive (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-1TB) in my system and cloned my older SSD to the new one using the provided cloning software (Acronis True Image). My PC is configured with the following: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core CPU, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB of RAM, Asus AM4 TUF Gaming X570-PLUS motherboard, older GPU GeForce GTX 770, Samsung 850 SDD and a Western Digital 1TB harddrive. I benchmarked the Sabrent 1TB Gen4 Rocket at : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CrystalDiskMark 7.0.0 x64 (C) 2007-2019 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World: https://crystalmark.info/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes [Read] Sequential 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 4998.316 MB/s [ 4766.8 IOPS] < 1676.89 us> Sequential 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 3038.782 MB/s [ 2898.0 IOPS] < 344.63 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 32, T=16): 1143.324 MB/s [ 279131.8 IOPS] < 1778.72 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 59.703 MB/s [ 14575.9 IOPS] < 68.43 us> [Write] Sequential 1MiB (Q= 8, T= 1): 4399.291 MB/s [ 4195.5 IOPS] < 1903.46 us> Sequential 1MiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 4324.735 MB/s [ 4124.4 IOPS] < 242.17 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 32, T=16): 837.485 MB/s [ 204464.1 IOPS] < 2427.51 us> Random 4KiB (Q= 1, T= 1): 158.242 MB/s [ 38633.3 IOPS] < 25.71 us> Profile: Default Test: 1 GiB (x5) [Interval: 5 sec] <DefaultAffinity=DISABLED> Date: 2020/06/25 5:44:55 OS: Windows 10 Professional [10.0 Build 19041] (x64) Extreme performance and beyond my expectations. Excellent product that more than lived up to specifications.

> 24 hourI will let the screenshot talk for me. This is a UEFI hardware RAID0 setup on a Windows 11 O/S. The mainboard is PICe 4.00 x570

> 24 hourSo far Ive got 4 of these, all 4 the 1tb version, 2 of them with the cooler and 2 of them without. The with are being used in my main workstation as a main and backup OS drive, and have performed splendidly for the past couple of years. The other 2 I recently got for tiering for my NAS--which were installed on a PCIE card with an integrated cooler so didnt need the cooling unit. So far they are working well in that role. The drive has been robust and aside from the occasional hiccups from poorly optimized resource-hog games (which might not even be this drives fault), they have ran like a champ. I would highly recommend.

> 24 hourIn terms of hardware functionality and performance, it meets my unreasonably high expectations. That was once I got it to clone properly, that is. I gave it 3 stars for installation for this reason: there is an issue with Sabrents cloning software that will cause several steps to move the process forward before they have actually completed their copy phase. This results in a bootable but non-functioning installation of Windows to be written to the SSD, causing an sihost.exe hardware error crash to occur upon logging in to what is an unresponsive/flickering desktop. This has apparently been a problem for several people, but luckily there is a suggested workaround on Reddit- download the free version of Macrium Reflect and it will clone your existing drive onto the Rocket 4.0 without issue. Of course, this is only necessary if you intend on cloning an existing system and its associated filestructure. If doing a clean install of an OS or using it as a data drive for games/graphics editing etc, following the traditional process as you would with any other drive, the bug is related specifically to the cloning software. Other than that WOOT! Faster than my 970 Evo Plus (on paper...i cant tell any speed increase during use but thats only because the 970 was already moving faster than human perception can cognitively sense. So yes it was an unnecessary upgrade. But I like my nerd loot)

> 24 hourReplaced my WD Black NVME 3.0 and replaced it with this one and downloaded windows and it worked perfect for a week or 2 . I Had issues with heat and booting into windows . Slapped my old NVMe Back in and it worked . The issue was with this Sabrent stick so I called customer service here in states , they never answered my calls like 5 times left a message went in their customer help line and left a message and received help via email , rep emailed me in how to set up my nvme In Bios lmao and how to download their software app . I gave up . Dont get me wrong I think this is a super product to purchase but their customer service is really bad and their website to download specific driver for your NVMe model is bad . You shouldn’t have any issues with their products I just think I had a defected NVMe . I had to power erase the NVMe M.2 and manually search for the right driver to download for this specific model myself and fixed the issue myself after hours of researching on the websites. Sabrent your products are a bit expensive for having bad customer service . Won’t be purchasing this product again

> 24 hourI installed this as a second drive for doing video editing mostly. It was generally easy to install ( the utility from the website is not as user friendly if you are not familiar with drive cloning, transfer, and format types ). It is definitely faster than some of previous generation SSDs that I had been using.

> 24 hourSo far so good. Been using this drive for 3 1/2 years every day doing normal activities. Programs load super fast and the drive is still showing that it has 96% life still left. Never the less, good solid drive that hasnt let me down yet. Crystal mark shows 5 GB per/second read & 2 GB p/s write.

> 24 hourUnless you know for a fact that it will physically fit in the motherboard used by you avoid getting the heatsink. Just looking at the motherboard specifications fails to count. This mistake was made by me when building a new computer. [MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI] was purchased by me but when assembling the computer this M.2 Internal SSD the screw meant to lock the memory against its connector failed to line up with the hole for it in the motherboard. However, the computer is being used by me right now to type this review. So without the heatsink, the M.2 Internal SSD works great, to the distortion of mine. Yet as an amateur, a guru or professional may know of some fix or workaround that is unknown to me. For sharing Gravity, grateful to you am I. That the Goddess is asked to alighten a path towards love, joy, & happiness along the self’determined life’cycle chosen by the Higher’Self of yours, by you, pray do I.

> 24 hourThis thing is great! It hits the rated speed and works great at loading my games quick. In War Thunder I even gained fps from my typical 145 to almost 160 in ground battles and from 200 to 220 in air battles. My biggest complaint is now I have to have my chipset fan at 60 to 80% speed all the time because with me using my RX 5700XT and this at the same time overheats my chipset. But after playing around with my fan curves its running great. The picture of me downloading Rocket league shows that this goes faster than my internet and has to stop for a short time so the download can get cought up. Typical load times now in rocket league and war thunder have gone from around 20 secs to 3 to 5 secs. Now i get into matches before everyone and im waiting on them. Shipping wise, it came in ontime and in perfect condition. The seller, Store4Memory, is very friendly and wants you to have the best experience. They contacted me just to make sure that everything is working and that it meats my expectations. I will definitely be doing business with them again when i need more NVMe drives. If you have PCIE 4.0 then this is worth the money for the 1TB version with the heatsink. My specs: MSI X570 motherboard AMD Ryzen 3600 AMD RX 5700XT 1 of these rocket drives 2x Sata SSDs 2x HDDs Seagate 850W psu
