I dont really play that much, so its not like I need the storage, and Im no tech savvy either, but I could definitely see the speed difference in the game I transferred to the SSD. It was the easiest thing ever to install and for a great price too.

Works great, super easy to install. Able to put all my ps4 games local to my system, definitely worth it.

All I know is that this thing gave me more space better loading times and I get to switch which games I want on my M.2 drive from Ps4 to Ps5 it’s amazing to have running out of space in a quick time

Bought 2 of these, had to reformat them both twice to get the read speeds above Sonys recommended 5500mbps read speed… but with that said, it was very close to the 5500mbps read speed… coming in at 5400mbps… reformatted and had them at around 5700-5800mbps read speed. So only reason for the missing star, but I love the heatsink they have! Very easy to install… well packaged, and overall a good buy for your ps5 memory expansion! If I hated it, I wouldn’t of bought a 2nd one from this place, definitely recommend!

The ssd is very easy and quick to install. The only issue I had was the screwdriver that it came with was to small and I had to get a different screwdriver, if it wasnt for that I would give this 5 stars.

TLDR; Slower than advertised speed, software doesnt work, may damage your USB-C port if connected through an enclosure. I purchased the 2TB drive for use with my PS5 and I got significantly slower speeds than advertised (4600 MB/s compared to advertised 7000 MB/s). I heard a firmware might fix this problem, so I bought a Sabrent USB 3.2 Type C enclosure to connect it to my laptop. With that enclosure, I was able to format the drive and my Windows PC recognized it and allowed me to use it as a mass storage drive. However, none of the Sabrent software, including the Firmware Update, would recognize the drive or the enclosure. After fully updating my PC and trying again to run the firmware and control panel, my USB-C port shut down entirely, neither providing power nor connecting any device through that port, such that I had to uninstall and reinstall all drivers and software associated with the USB-C port several times to get it back up and running. However, upon plugging the Sabrent enclosure and drive back in, it immediately shut down the USB-C port. AGAIN. Ive tried reinstalling the USB-C port software three times now and the port is still dead. I have a complaint with Sabrent and am expecting a quick response, otherwise I will be returning all of these products and I will never do business with this company again.

I have no complaints whatsoever with this product. I bought it specifically for my PS5 and wS grateful that it comes with very easy to follow instructions on how to install it. It isnt the cheapest additional memory product, but certainly seems well made and high quality. It worked immediately after installation and I havent had any issues at all since I bought it.

Loved the heatsink style that sabrent created for the PS5 the card itself is well worth it. Im already looking to upgrade my 1tb from Sabrent to a 4tb Sabrent ssd for my PS5.

The drive came in normal good condition but the heat sink was scratched up as if it was dragged on the road out of the box, yes its hidden but for the money, I could have got a 10-dollar one.

If you are looking to expand the internal storage of your PS5, this is an excellent choice. In my opinion, Sabrent came out with the best setup, an m.2 NVE with a heatsink plate. Installing the m.2 is a no-brainer and only took about 5 minutes(I got distracted with the detail under the PS5 side plates). The data rate speeds of the m.2 from Sabrent are fast and as advertised. I got the 2TB version, which was only because the 4TB was out of my budget, but I would upgrade to the 4TB if the price came down.
