SABRENT 2TB Rocket 4 Plus NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal Extreme Performance SSD + M.2 NVMe heatsink Combo (SB-RKT4P-PSHS-2TB)

Been looking for a internal ssd for the PS5 and did some research on different types of ssds and finally went with the Sabrent ssd. Its really easy to install you dont need to be tech savvy. Decided the 2tb was worth the extra money and more storage. So far its working good and the speed is also good.

My Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus is the most consistenly fast internal SSD Ive ever come across. Ive used Sabrent products over the years and they never let me down. If the 4TB was cheaper at the time I was in the market, I wanted to get that instead and never have to worry about space again. However, no complaints at all against my 2TB SSD. Its fantastic!

This was pretty easy to install. I like that the heat sink is custom made to fit the PS5 (it replaces the cover that goes over the port). Its nice not to worry about storage for PS5 games any more. And its super fast. I was playing GTA V off of an external HDD, and the initial load up would take about 2 minutes. I moved it to this SSD, and now it takes about 12 seconds. I dont like the price... but it is what it is thanks to COVID and the silicon shortage.

Performed EXACTLY as advertised in fact I have more real world performance than I expected. I bought it for my PS5 and the only regret I have is that I couldnt buy it sooner. May buy again (drive & PC heatsink) for my future Ryzen Windows 11. Thanks for sticking to your word and delivering an amazing product Sabrent.

If you are looking to expand the internal storage of your PS5, this is an excellent choice. In my opinion, Sabrent came out with the best setup, an m.2 NVE with a heatsink plate. Installing the m.2 is a no-brainer and only took about 5 minutes(I got distracted with the detail under the PS5 side plates). The data rate speeds of the m.2 from Sabrent are fast and as advertised. I got the 2TB version, which was only because the 4TB was out of my budget, but I would upgrade to the 4TB if the price came down.

I was looking to extend the storage of my PS5 and I found a video on youtube talking about the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus + Heatsink so i gave it a try, honestly it was very easy to install and the quality is great for the price I recommend to get 2 tera byte or more

I was apprehensive when I ordered this based on a number of reviews that says it clocks slower than recommended for PS5 and/or that I would need to plug it into a PC to update the firmware. After a bunch of research, I took the plunge anyway. Worked great. Not 7000+, for which I assume I would need to update the firmware, but the PS5 recognized it as being 6300+, which is plenty for my PS5 needs. The heat sink seems really good, and other more technical review sites that can image heat and get accurate readings seem to think that the heatsink is very effective. Will update if this thing dies too quickly or something, but the price compared to other similar ssds with heat sinks, on top of this particular heat sink being explicitly designed for PS5, plus the ease of installation, and with the more-than-sufficient speed clocked by the PS5 all make this a 5-star buy so far.

Extreamly EASY to install litreally like spreading Peanut butter on toast and thats not even the best part, A Heatsink specially made for ps5. YALL LISTENIN TO THIS. The other ssd cost 189$ and above easily without a heatsink and specially made for ps5 lol forget it. You think that was the best part? Nah Nah Nah, yall know the feeling of odering from a new restaurant and when it arrives its 2x bigger than what you might expected. Well same goes for this after I was done install and boot up the ps5 my reading speed was 6520.001 Mb/s and this reading speed was for 1Tb purchase. Yea I think I just died and went to heaven.
