> 3 dayI don’t know much about bearings but from what I’ve gathered, these are commonly used with 3D printed parts for printer upgrades. I figured I’d buy a set for filament storage and a filament guide. So far, these are doing just fine. I followed the advice of other reviewers and used a liberal amount of WD40 to get these in working order. I soaked a shop towel and put these in a ziplock bag overnight and the gunk previously seized these bearings is now gone.

> 3 dayI purchased these to use in 3D printed components. Many reviewers commented on how they dont spin freely and some feel gritty. Bearings are made to bear a load and allow it to spin smoothly, and for this they work fine. I am using them for 3D printed projects and havent been disappointed yet. For skating I would recommend spending more and buying a set of quality skate bearings - I have a set of quality skate bearings Ive been rolling on since 2012 (~8 years now). Youll feel the low quality with every roll, I wouldnt count on these to either last as long or be anywhere near as quick and smooth as name-brand skate bearings, but theyre significantly cheaper and almost disposable while still offering a relatively frictionless roll compared to plastic-on-plastic that keeps my designs from wearing out prematurely.

> 3 dayThe bearings I received were corroded (ok, they are carbon steel and not stainless) and felt greasy. Grease should not be leaking out of these things, even if they are merely shielded and not actually sealed. They were also rough to turn, as though the races and balls were badly pitted, or had dirt inside. I started to wonder if they were actually used, and salvaged from old skateboards. Thank goodness Amazon takes returns. I ended up buying a different bearing for 2x the price, still very cheap, and a much better product. Don’t waste your time with these.

> 3 dayI love these for 3d prints! They dont spin forever like a fidget spinner would, but then again they shouldnt. The grease is viscous enough to prevent free/loose movement on the filament holder that I printed. If these spun easily and for a long time, I would have tangled filament! I suppose the grease could be replaced if you need a longer spinning bearing, but you might be better off getting another product.

> 3 dayI did not use these in a skating application. I can not speak to their durability in that application. There were used in a spooler that required a set of 608 bearings that could simply roll smoothly at low speeds. All dimensions were within stated specs for 608 bearings. They come pre-greased in tubes of 10. No complaints and would order more for additional projects.

> 3 dayone of the bearings came with a big gash in the shield, and all of them are really just not smooth. gritty and hard to turn.. going to try to repack but spend the extra 10 bucks and get some quality bearings.

Greater than one weekI bought these bearings for the fan motor in my bathroom. I used a proper two-jaw puller to pull off the old bearings and to my surprise these new bearings just dropped right onto the shaft, even though I had to use a puller to pull them off. Once installed, they were pretty rough to turn over, which is fine because I expect the grease to have to melt and turn into oil to lubricate the balls themselves. Once installed, the motor was kind of hard starting, and once it was going it was extremely loud. Much more loud than the old bearings that were in there. I would not recommend these for use in a motor of any type, unless noise is not a factor.

> 3 dayI am not using them as they are intended to be used. I am over speeding the bearings. But they are holding up
