> 3 dayThese are labeled as 608ZZ and are double metal shielded. The ability to spin freely is somewhat limited for some reason. I dont know if the grease inside is too thick or what, but if youre looking for a bearing for a fidget spinner then you might want to look elsewhere. On the other hand, there is no play between the inner race and the balls and outer race, so I cant say they are sloppy loose either. I think they are a god value for the cost as long as you are not wanting something that is going to spin freely for any length of time.

> 3 dayThey seem loose and wobbly and many of the shields protecting the bearings from dirt are dinged up like they were installed by hand by someone in a hurry. A bearing should only spin and not move in other directions. I plan to use them for wheels on parts bins, so theyll work for that, but I wouldnt bother with them again.

> 3 dayI ordered these to use as bearings for fidget spinners, I know. These were nice and cheap, and I wanted to give these a go. When they arrived, I noticed a couple had small spots of rust on the inside, so I emailed the company and they replaced them no questions asked and were very responsive and helpful. After decided the rust wasnt really that noticeable, I popped off both shields and then let them soak in gas so it would break loose all the grease (wasnt much). After letting them soak and shaking it a little, I took them out and let them dry. Afterwards, I sprayed them down with RemOil and took them inside. In a pretty light spinner, theyll spin for about a minute! I prefer these over the Bones Reds, simply because they spin longer and theyre cheaper. Overall, great product for the price and great customer service!

> 3 dayThey work and they are working well. That, along with a great price makes it a great buy.

> 3 dayI got the bearing to use for the 3d print parts, but out of the box the bearing does not rotate too well. You may need some clean up and re lubricant depends on the use. Overall its OK for basic use.

Greater than one weekThey pretty sticky out of the box but thats just because theyre packed with grease, a quick spray with some simple green followed by some compressed air and some oil frees them right up. You could skip all that and just blast them with WD-40 but I like to use actual bearing oil. That said, the tolerances are actually kinda terrible, they have quite a bit of slop in them and they feel rough when you spin them. I suspect thats why they over grease them, to hide the bad tolerances and low quality balls/races inside. I dont use them for anything load bearing or fast speeds, these are just used for the filament roller guides on my 3d printer.

> 3 dayPicked this up for a spool holder and they worked great! Had to spray down with some WD-40 and roll a bit but once that was done they worked great. Have a few more filament guides Ill print that will use this but great for what they needed to do.

> 3 dayIve used these for around a year in a few applications and overall if youre looking for something low speed with radial only (no axial) load then these will probably be fine. Anything high speed (greater than around 200 rpm) will quickly destroy the bearings and anything with any axial load will quickly destroy the internal balls. I used these in a cnc router as guide for lead screws and the axial load destroyed them in less than 20 total hours of use.
