> 3 dayExcellent teaching tool. I used it as a companion to the book Are You a Honey Bee for preschoolers through second grade in a Sunday School class. The children loved the hands on items that looked just like what they were learning in the book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to give their young children a lesson on metamorphosis! Even the adults in the classroom learned something!

> 3 dayI was excited to buy this for my Montessori classroom because we were having a ladybug release party in our school garden and wanted to study more about ladybugs. It arrived quickly through Amazon prime but when I inspected the contents, it had the replicas for the life cycle of a butterfly, even though the package says Life Cycle of a Ladybug! I had to return it, and my students could not use it. I know this probably doesnt happen often- it was so strange!

> 3 dayNice for teaching children. The honey comb with egg stage could be better as it does not correlate to what a child might think of a honey comb or hive as.

> 3 dayThe second grade teaching team in my daughter’s school had started cultivating butterflies as a part of the curriculum towards the end of the year. When her teacher told me the eggs had not yet hatched and the kids were in jeopardy of not witnessing the transformation, I found these for them. They were very happy to have something the kids could touch and see ... especially since the butterflies emerged a week or so after the end of the school year.

Greater than one weekThese are perfect for teaching! My kids love to hold things and they are hands on learners so this is great for our bee and butterfly unit.
