> 3 dayI love these! My only complaint is that my branch is no longer attached to the chrysalis, it still works for its purpose but I find myself glancing over to it on my counter wondering if there’s any way to reattach it. Otherwise this would be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Greater than one weekI bought this product to help me teach a class of 7 year olds about honeybees. And while most of the children did enjoy handling them and learning the basic stages of the life cycle, I couldn’t help wishing that they were made on a smaller scale. Some children already have a fear of bees and seeing one that’s nearly 3 inches long(!) is a bit frightening and intimidating. Additionally, the large size is untrue to the delicate and dainty nature of a real bee. I was also disappointed that the model of the adult bee didn’t include the ocellus (three simple eyes used for low light conditions in the hive) on top of the head, nor did it clearly distinguish between the forewing and hindwing (as the two are connected on the model). Perhaps a plastic model simply can’t do these magnificent creatures justice.

> 3 daySafari Toys never disappoint. The life of a butterfly is an authentic depiction of the lifestyle stages of the monarch butterfly and are a good learning toy for homeschoolers teaching this concept. They are also fun toys for children with an interest in insects. Our budding entomologist is four and loves these. He has learned all of the correct terms for the lifestyle stages which are presented on the card in four languages (English, French, Spanish, and German). There are also interesting facts about each stage on the back of the card in four languages. Overall, I highly recommend this. In general I would say you wont go wrong with any of the Safari Ltd toys.
