> 3 dayMy preschoolers just loved playing with the individual pieces as well as putting them in the proper ladybug life cycle order. The pieces are large enough to not get lost easily. I added in several books on the lady bugs life cycle, created a sensory habitat in the classroom along with magnifying glasses and a few bug box boxes. We went outside and caught lady bugs as well as ladybug larvae/grubs to study then let go. It all tied in nicely and gave them a hands on understanding. I also bought the monarch butterfly and the frog life cycle. and did the same thing. All are at a reasonable price and a good quality. I highly recommend them.

> 3 dayWe raised a monarch butterfly at home from caterpillar to butterfly, and kids wanted a toy one after it flew. They loved it but complained about the inaccurate sizes. Chrysalis is too big, butterfly to small. Other than that, fun and educational.
