All is well

I cultivate Monarch butterflies in our house. I love when children visit and view the hungry caterpillars and the resulting chrysalises. I give each child one of these items, to take home and consider.

I am a teacher and Im always looking for a hands on experiences for the classroom. So you can imagine how excited I was when I found these! Last spring I had an incubator in my classroom and the children got to watch the chicks hatch out of their eggs! I did a whole unit on the life cycle of the chicken and these figurines were a beautiful visual for the children. I love Safari Ltd products they are such a good quality and are great replicas. The children enjoy playing with the figurines and putting them in the correct order that the life cycle of a chicken. But what came first the chicken or the egg?? LOL!

Matched the images in our life cycle book - perfect for us. Kids ran around plays with them for weeks.

I ordered these to go along with our Butterfly Unit Study. We havent done the study just yet so these pieces are still in the package. When my son has his homeschool science co-op report to do mid April, instead of taking the actual caterpillar or crysalis, for fear of damanging them, Im going to have him take these. I think the report will go very well. I plan on getting a few more life cycle of... things in the future.

Good teaching tool. Hard to find the real thing in nature for this insect, so it helps to have the models.

The set is a great teaching aid for beekeepers as well as school teachers.

I love these! My only complaint is that my branch is no longer attached to the chrysalis, it still works for its purpose but I find myself glancing over to it on my counter wondering if there’s any way to reattach it. Otherwise this would be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I do some teaching of preschoolers through second grade. This toy was a great addition to my lessons on metamorphosis! Children could handle the life-like items and see the different cycles described in the book. A great teaching tool for all ages! I purchased other similar products, which also were well received by my students.
