So needed as a second base to use same carseat

The the way the buckle is positioned ( how closely it’s attached to the bottom of the seat) digs into my daughters thighs making it uncomfortable for her to sit without having to bend her knees. She is one week old about 5lbs 7oz so I can only imagine it getting worse as she grows.

I was going to return this because I thought it only had a 30 day return policy, but found out it is longer because its a gift. So keeping it for the baby shower gift and hopefully its the perfect gift for the new baby.

I purchased this item in April to be ready for my baby when she comes in June - We installed it and seemed fine but once she was in the carseat and in the base I realized something wasnt right it was so loose the base moved up and down, like it wasnt even buckled in - and the locks that attach the carseat to the base doesnt secure property! I have to put the carseat in the base 3 times before I hear it click.. I also wasnt a fan of the level system it has.. It just has a line accross the carseat that has it just be level to the ground. My other had an actual level with the ball, this one does not. This is my 3rd child and I never had a safety first carseat before and this will be my last!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND.. I already reached the cut off date to return back thru Amazon! Update: local EMS said it was fine- she noticed the clips that the base hooked into my seats was upside down, she fixed that and said that it needed to move some up and down but not side to side.. I still just dont think its safe for my likings.. She is now 2 months and I am getting her a bigger seat without a base..

I loved the car seat look and color. I was going for something a little more expensive and cushioned with this baby but when we installed it we noticed the car seat would NOT clip into the base. The base itself was super loose. And the car seat would just wiggle super dangerous we sadly had to return it.
