We used this car seat for our first baby. We didn’t know anything about car seat safety and we didn’t have a lot of money to spend on a car seat. Now I regret going the cheap route and wish I would have done more research on this car seat. The car seat itself isn’t bad. It’s pretty easy to move the visor back and forth and easy to move the handle. I don’t feel as though it’s loud like the other reviews say. The cushioning is a plus but this seat sucks for a newborn because the buckle cannot be adjusted to where it doesn’t cut into baby’s thighs while still fitting in a way that is safe. The base is horrible. A nurse at the hospital came out to my car to check the install and all that to make sure it was safe. She pulled and pulled on the seat belt but nothing she did fixed the base where it wouldn’t move. Also, when you put the car seat on the base it doesn’t lock in very good so there’s wiggle room there too. I felt very uncomfortable riding around with my baby in this car seat. Once everything is in place, you can move the car seat/ base a good 3-4 inches in every direction. I couldn’t imagine what would happen in the event of an accident. Don’t buy this car seat even if you are on a budget. Save money and get a better car seat. Your child’s safety is worth it.

I needed an extra base for our other vehicle. I dont like how there is no latch to hold the front down. But maybe they are all made like that. Im not sure.

This car seat does not fit snug in any vehicle! It does not cinch down tight enough to secure the rear of the car seat from lifting completely of the vehicle seat! It’s dangerously loose, and yes, I have it installed correctly and the strap as tight as it will go!
