I have always had safety 1st car seat since my 8 year old was a baby. This car seat was extremely well made and you can tell its meant to take a beating (meaning car accident) its extremely easy to setup but fair warning its a big car seat and a very big base. It fit perfectly in my husband Chevy silverado but its a extended cabin, it doesnt fit in a Chevy Coronado. It wont allow much room for the passenger seat or driver seat to move. I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe and I had to put it in the middle because of not you cant move the passenger seat back or recline. Since I dont transport many front passengers I didnt mind since my newborn safety was more important. This car seat it the one to get if you are looking for great quality, super strong protection and have space in your car.

It’s one of the lightest infant car seats I’ve had. I have c sections so having a light car seat is something I look for.

Base is very lose. Returning for a safer model.

After 3 people who have installed a car seat a time or two tried to properly install the base into the car and not being successful I took it to the Health Department who also couldn’t not get it installed properly. The base was way too wobbly and the anchor straps wouldn’t tighten enough.
