> 24 hourThis product works perfectly and was super easy to install. After I bumped into our flatscreen TV and knocked it over on a desk that sets between two closets, I bought a new TV and this product to safely secure the TV. I was able to secure it to the desk without even going to the wall. Works perfectly and was simple to install.

> 24 hourI installed the straps with ease. The screws and straps are high quality. I chose not to secure the furniture and TV to the wall which is an option with the strap system. The problem is that IF I were to secure to the wall, my product came with 3 TV mounts and 1 wall mount. I have shared a picture to show how they are different. They product should have come with 2 TV mount and 2 wall mount.

> 24 hourPeace of mind with a large TV. I’ve heard horror stories and know how important having a harness is and this is perfect.

> 24 hourMy TV/Stand is positioned in a corner and these were a bit difficult to make work in this situation. The straps didnt have quite enough length to reach the studs in the wall and also screw into the stand on one side because of how the part that mounts to stand is fixed to the cable. This likely wont be an issue if your stand is flush against the wall. The TV and stand feel nice and sturdy now though.

> 24 hourWas so happy that I bought these! They are super strong and secure and easy to install. I have a 1 year old and 5 year old that run around and bump into everything, not to mention climbing on stuff, and these give me peace of mind as a father. Definitely a great value and much cheaper than a trip to the emergency room. A definite must for any parents wanting to baby proof their home. I will continue to buy these for any future televisions I may have because I don’t like to mount my televisions to the wall. Perfect for anyone living in an apartment as well that way you don’t damage the walls.

> 24 hourI was babysitting (older) kittens in an earthquake area just after I got this in the I TV (taking care of it for a out of town friend, dont want to break it). Immediately I KNEW I couldnt put off the straps. Having a handheld drill made it VERY easy to attach, in spite of my bad back never liking this sort of thing. Had to figure out right screws for tv, but other than that, easy.

> 24 hourWarning. This may be for all devices sold so just be aware. Given TVs can be attached to wall mounts, stands etc my concern may be me being over cautious and the TV manufacturers have very good protection for using a long screw. This particular device has all long screws. In general the TV mounting screw points have a bottoming feature. This feature is such that the screw will feel tight and stop further inserting of the screw. I have a thin (3/4 thick including the screen) TV typical today and is a 65 inch LG. I put the screws in finger tight and carefully used a screwdriver to snug up the screw. Do not heavily tighten the screw as you could break the plastic stop inside the hole that prevents you from damaging the TV screen/electronics. It is possible that you can not tighten the screw in a way that damages the TV I was just not willing to take that risk I would have preferred a shorter screw. With the screw snug the screw is so long I still have about 1/4 inch of the screw shaft showing but this should be fine its still secure (see picture). They should supply much shorter screws that are a length that can snug up the bracket and never risk damaging the TV thus my 4* rating.

> 24 hourThis product was a lot easier to install then I had predicted. It comes with 3 sizes of (2) screws to secure the strap to the tv, and the tv should have spots on it to secure it. The part that is secured to the furniture utilizes one screw per strap (2 screws total) which are included. The directions recommend using a power tool which I do not have access to but I hammered the screw in about 2-3 millimeters until it was deep enough for me to use a philips screwdriver to twist it in the rest of the way. Worked perfectly without stripping the screw. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because the portion that would be secured to the wall requires 4 screws (2 per strap) but it only came with 2 screws for this section. It would be plausible to buy 2 more screws for it, but I personally wasnt going to use the portion to secure it to the wall since the screen to furniture is all I need to prevent my rebellious cat from knocking over the screen! It is still a good purchase and I would buy it again.

> 24 hourOnce the straps are properly positioned and cranked down tight, it really limits how far my 55 TV can sway or be pushed. Im no longer worried about my cats jumping into the TV and tipping it over, and less worried than I was about a major earthquake. I only have this screwed into the TV and the wall studs, rather than also screwing the middle points into the TV stand, but I would still recommend doing that to be safe. (My stand is made of a fairly hollow honeycomb material inside, so the screws wouldnt have much to bite down on.)
