Safety 1st TV & Furniture Safety Straps, Black, Multi, 2 Straps(Pack of 1)

our FAT CATS kept walking behind our big flat screen TV and i couldnt relax knowing that they could possibly knock it over so we put these straps on and problem solved! super easy to install. hardest part was moving our heavy TV stand out from the wall so we could drill into the back of it.

I bought these as soon as my son started trying to climb and pull up on things. They make me feel so much less stressed because I know if he grabs, bumps, or accidently hits the TV or TV stand that its not going anywhere. He will be safe. My mommy heart can definitely get behind that!!

I was a bit skeptical about this. I have a 64 flat screen and I wanted to mount it above my electric fireplace. I have 13 year old and 5 year old boys who have a tendency to turn my living room into PPV wrestlemania circa 1996. The TV and fireplace have stayed perfectly still. Highly recommended kit for someone who doesnt want to mount the TV right to the wall.

Its also a good idea to periodically check the straps to make sure they havent loosened over time. 4 year old grandson... need I say more. Nearly every non soft piece of furniture in our house is secured. The most effective installation is 44 TV on a heavy dresser. Best package for that safety measures at a good price.

The screws that secure the wall straps to the studs strip far too easily, even with pilot holes. It’s annoying to have to get different screws in the middle of the project, but other than that, these seem great.

My husband installed it on our 65 TV just had to search for the right size bolts.

The straps are sturdy. The kit does not have the correct m8 bolt length for Samsung TV. If you secure to wall the kit also does not have any wall anchors . But it but be prepared for a trip to hardware store

Nothing bad to say about this product. We were nervous about our daughter pulling on the TV and these straps make it a much safer living room for her to explore in. We installed them in less than 10 minutes and the TV feels very secure now

This product was a lot easier to install then I had predicted. It comes with 3 sizes of (2) screws to secure the strap to the tv, and the tv should have spots on it to secure it. The part that is secured to the furniture utilizes one screw per strap (2 screws total) which are included. The directions recommend using a power tool which I do not have access to but I hammered the screw in about 2-3 millimeters until it was deep enough for me to use a philips screwdriver to twist it in the rest of the way. Worked perfectly without stripping the screw. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because the portion that would be secured to the wall requires 4 screws (2 per strap) but it only came with 2 screws for this section. It would be plausible to buy 2 more screws for it, but I personally wasnt going to use the portion to secure it to the wall since the screen to furniture is all I need to prevent my rebellious cat from knocking over the screen! It is still a good purchase and I would buy it again.
