> 3 dayI have a 6 year old autistic son and he likes to put his seatbelts on before leaving and off when I park on his own. He found this contraption and placed it backwards. I had to snug the flattest key in to unbuckle my kid. Fortunately, he didnt lose his mind because the seatbelts wouldnt unfasten and the belt was getting tight.

> 3 dayI use this device with my special needs son, and it works perfectly. It is easy to use, and it allows him to stay safe in the car.

> 3 dayThe buckle is great, stays secure and in place but the seatbelt clip is horrible honestly. Its really hard to clip it on and when you finally get it, its easy for the young child to make the belt loose enough and slip out.

> 3 dayThis is probably my best amazon purchase yet. I have a five year old that keeps unbuckling his seatbelt when he doesn’t want to leave a place. This is super easy to use. I can quickly get it on and buckled before he realizes it. Then I just tell my kid that it can’t come off until I turn the car off and use the car key. Which the car key fits perfectly in the gap to unbuckle the seatbelt.

Greater than one weekMy autistic son sometimes has tantrums and will unblock seat belt or try to slide out for the seat belt now that he’s old enough for a booster. Peace of mind when I can’t pull over right away to guide him through the tantrum. He’s upset but I know he can’t unbulk or get out from the seat belt.

> 3 dayWe have a boy who has sensory issues and ADHD. He fidgets a lot and we have had issues with him unbuckling in the car. This is super easy to put on and prevents him from unbuckling. Its easy for us to use the car key to unbuckle him when we arrive. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be if the buckle guard had something that would keep it from falling of the seat belt when you unbuckle. It falls off easily and I dont want to lose it.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for using with my daughter who has Down Syndrome. She is safely locked in her seat and has a harder time terrorizing her brother in the other side of the seat. (Lol). I feel more at ease cuz she doesn’t just get out of her seat and bounce around the back seat while I’m driving down the road. She no longer peeks over my shoulder and stick her head out my window as I am ordering then paying at the drive thru. (Yikes!). I make her look away so she can’t see how I “unlock” it. She is not as happy riding in the car but at least she is safe. Just an FYI, I have a 2016 Honda CR-V. It does not exactly line up and install easily. I didn’t really want to send it back cuz it is clearly well made and so I put it on the “male” end and then clip it and I am able to wiggle it around until it clicks. I would have given it 5 stars if it fit better. It still works.

> 3 dayI got this to keep my 3 year old in his carseat. Also because in the description it states for special needs kids. This would be exactly what Im wanting if he was in a booster seat but because the buckle has a button on the front and not the top this will not work until hes older.

> 3 dayPurchased this to keep my special needs son safe. He doesnt understand the danger of not being buckled and likes to move around in the car. LIFESAVER! Keeps him secure and is saving my sanity of pulling over repeatedly to rebuckle him. Id buy this a thousand times over!
