Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, 2-Piece Set (20/24), Teal

I was surprised at how light it is and the quality is nice. Wheels roll easily.

Only giving it 1 star because the system won’t let me give it zero. Really liked the suitcase until one of the wheels broke off the first time I used it. I expected more from Samsonite.

I was looking for a ‘smaller’ medium-sized polycarbonate hard shell spinner suitcase around 26” high. Something to check in at the airport but easy to handle at the train station in Japan. The dimensions listed here are off by ~1” all the way around. 27.5”x18.25”x12” - an inch taller, deeper & 1/2” wider than described. Still a good suitcase for the price but it’s bigger than advertised. These specs fit the original Omni suitcase, not Omni 2.

Packed my lovely lightweight, maneuverable luggage the night before just fine, traveled 6 hours in a car to the airport just fine, repacked my bag to get my medicine out to take as carryon. Zipper comes off track, start of Zipper is sewed behind the liner, i cut the liner. Zipper is hot glue gun on, no way to retrack zipper without cleaning out glue between each tooth for about 3 inches of zipper. Not possible while trying to catch a flight, had to pay for the wrap. Managed to retract zipper for return, failed again. I would not buy again. poor craftsmanship.

Yeah, it is kind of flimsy if its not full enough. So, for 50 lb or less, you have to fill it really with very light stuff and hope it does not splits on carousel...

Easy to maneuver. Made my travel so easy to maneuver through the airport and hotel

Great samsonite quality

I didn’t like the fact that it’s too heavy because I only can take up to 50 lbs per luggage and this one is like 15lbs already!

Just perfect for what I needed it for. Its also durable. Happy with my purchase

Good suitcase. When it first arrived I was doubtful about its durability but it made it to 6 different airports on the other side of the world and back w/out incident. Not scratch resistant but thats normal for what luggage goes through. I would buy it again but dont have to because aa I said it still works great after 5000 miles and 6 major international airports.
