Since it has been predicted that SSD prices will go up before the end of the year, buy this one now. This SSD is $20 cheaper than when I bought mine and it was beyond worth it then. If youre moving from HDD, data transfer is practically plug and play if not needing some technical skill to complete. If you can install a video card, you can install this.

It was plug and play I use it on a Mac device so I had to initialize it first basically reformat it when plugged it in. Other that I havent had to do anything special with it

Great, as a games designer and a gamer I needed something that would work quicker then a Hdd. My computer would take at least 4 minutes to load up before I purchased this.

Couldnt stand having only 60G on my C drive (my computer is old). Looked up guides and reviews and picked this one.

simple upgrade from a 256gb to this 1TB beast. working great over a month and no cons to it.

A few months after purchase I noticed that some of my data became unreadable when doing my backup. Taking a look at the Magician utility revealed that the drive was encountering an awful lot of ECC errors. Since the return window was already over and apparently theres no proper warranty in Canada for the drive either (thats what Canada Version means) I decided to keep it around to see whether its just some blocks that were damaged from the get go.

Original Panasonic M.2 and Panasonic replacement failed and faulted respectively. Samsung 870 EVO has worked reliably and exceedingly fast (boot to desktop in less than 30 sec.) for the past 10 months.
