I gave the actual product SSD hardware five stars but the software at best is two stars. Dont waste your time with the cloning software. Download a better more flexible free cloning software.

This is clearly a quality drive - but if youre new to SSDs or Windows 10 - you might get frustrated trying to install/access this. It is NOT plug and play and nowhere does anyone tell you about the bug in Windows 10 that prevents the drive from being seen in Explorer when you first connect it. It WILL instantly show up (and proper drivers will load) in Device Manager. But you need to use Disk Management to format the drive. There are excellent videos on Youtube walking you through the process. Its not terribly obvious - its not directly described as formatting the drive - but rather as configuring a simple partition. Once done, it will instantly appear in Explorer (ThisPC) and you can get on with using it. NOWHERE is this mentioned - so it can look like its a defective product, when its really just Windows and the products documentation thats lacking.

The data migration software you can use with these works perfectly 99 percent of the time. Most other migration / cloning software is hit or miss. I always buy Samsung because of this.

Originaly bought a Crucial drive and after trying to clone it 3 times I had to send it back. I purchased this drive and the migration software from Samsung also failed twice. Not wanting to send this drive back I decided to try the Macrium Reflect free version. Wow!!! Great software!!! Worked the first time!!! The Crucial software took 3.5 hours to clone and failed. Samsung took 2 hours and failed. Macrium cloned after 55min. and worked perfect. Love my new SSD

Ive been using this SSD for a while now and its worked perfectly for gaming. Im probably going to be buying another one soon.

My hard drive failed so I decided to replace it with SSD. So far so good. The laptop is much faster than it used to be

This Samsung SSD is easy to install and is very reliable. Boot up is quick and easy. Highly recommend for everyday use or gaming.

This SSD is light and compact. I have yet to check its speed against what had been advertised, but its as fast as I need it to be.
