If your computer isnt totally in need of replacement but is kinda slow it may seem silly to some but an SSD can make a reasonable difference. Along with a RAM expansion if your pc can handle it, changing from an old HDD to a SSD is obviously noticeable immediately and usually is a fairly simple change from my experience with laptops and really simple for desktops. Not only will your pc boot much faster, the screen comes up almost immediately if not immediately, but it removes a major bottleneck in most pcs with a standard hard drive. Dont forget to get yourself an HDD to SSD transfer cable if youre a newbie. Theyre fairly cheap and you only need to buy it once. Ive upgraded several pcs for family and like to buy these things as christmas gifts. Just do your own test and look at your pcs performance monitor. Google how if you dont know. Youll b shocked that most of the time the hard disk is always maxed out while the RAM and CPU arent hardly used. Help yourself and help a family member or friend.

Like the heading says, theres no reason to get any other brand - just go search all the reviews out there, this is a no brainer. Install is a snap, downloadable software is really excellent to make transferring and monitoring a snap, and performance is superior. Now Ive only one for a few months and just installed my second one, but i see no reason to every get a different SSD.

This 2.5 inch SSD is a good addition to any computer system (desktop & laptop). For gaming, some games perform better with an Nvme SSD, but they are more expensive for their performance. A 2.5 SSD is a big upgrade from using an HDD, but the cost for capacity of an HDD still beats an SSD. The 2.5 SSD provides the middle ground for blazing speed and capacity. This is applicable to every big brand 2.5 SSD, so choose a brand you like and can agree with its companys practices.

Happy with my purchase. The Samsung migration software ran really well. Operating system WIN 10 and everything was copied over from the HDD to this drive. Installed in my Dell AIO3475 and certainly runs mmmmuuuucchhh better. very pleased. Just what I wanted.

We installed it, and transferred my 250 gig drive info over, and have not looked back since
