Bought the 500GB Samsung EVO SSD. Installed without an issue and it worked well. My 5 year old computer now has new life.

I bought this SSD a couple of years ago as a spare for my laptop. I had been having software update issues with Microsoft Windows 10, so when I had a good update, I would clone the laptops drive to a spare SSD. If an update failed, I always could go back to the spare.

This SSD works great. Installation was a slight challenge because my open drive bay wasnt a perfect fit for this unit. The transfer software is incredible! My only glitch was trying to book from the new drive. Changing BIOS setting boot-order seemed to work, but wasnt actually booting from the new drive. I swapped the SATA-0 and SATA-1 cable connections on the motherboard and BINGO! -- works great!

Speed is a little better than the 870 QVO it replaced but didnt expect that.

I purchased this to upgrade an old home built computer system. I used it to replace a 7200 RPM hard drive and I used Acronis to make a clone of my old drive. My systems response increase is incredible. Luckily my old system had SATA so it was plug and play.

Used the Samsung SSD drive to replace my existing HDD hard drive in my HP Laptop . It dramatically increased the speed and performer.

I also have an 860 pro 500G. on the performance side, at least I couldnt tell the difference between 860 pro and 870 evo...well, Good For Me, I guess...Time will tell

Swapped the SSD with HDD on old Lenovo laptop, very easy install (couple of vedios on youtube will help to understand the process) no hassel and super fast speed..highly recommended
