    Always recommend upgrading old spinning hard drives to solid state. I purchased this with the cloning software and cable (for $25.00) and once the cloning finished I installed the new solid state drive. I went from 30-45 seconds to boot up to literally less than 5 seconds to boot. Great improvement.

    I’ve got five of these in various machines, they are reliable and fast. From Linux to different flavors of Windows, they are quiet and boot quickly. My oldest one is 3 years, never had a problem with it. It’s a decent size for a general purpose PC.

    Replaced a 1TB 5400 RPM HDD with this one. Cracking open the laptop was the hard part. After re-imaging using Macrium Reflect with external attachment, installation was a snap. Booted up without issues and FAST! Boot up on HDD took a couple of minutes. Boot up on SDD took a few seconds. Amazing. I did not use the SAMSUNG Data Migration tool. Nothing wrong with it, I just felt more comfortable using Macrium Reflect restore from an Image feature better.

    I replaced the 500GB HDD in my Xbox one X with super fast SSD. Wow. What an upgrade. Load times are cut in half- installing game updates- amazingly fast- this a must do upgrade for anyone with a Hard Drive Disk (HDD) highly recommend

    Its speed and performance is far worse than the HDD it replaced. I tried Samsung magician, AOMEI partition assistant. Nothing helps. It feels like someone put a few 100 MB buffer and an old HDD to create a fake SSD HDD.
